Chapter 1: Creatures

Honoka was looking out the window of her apartment, currently thinking about a lot of things.

"Honoka-chan." Kotori called. Honoka turned around and raised an eyebrow.

"Let's go." Kotori said with a smile.

"Yeah." Honoka said and held Kotori's hand before going to the Training Room.

"Honoka-chan, are you prepared for tommorow?" Kotori asked.

"Yeah. Although, i am a bit nervous. This is gonna be my first fighting alongside with everyone. Only you and Umi-chan have been with me in battles. I'm afraid to make a bad perfomance in their eyes. They would think i'm just another livestock." Honoka said.

"Honoka-chan." Kotori said and cupped Honoka's cheeks.

"Don't worry. It'll be okay. They're nice people. Well, i don't think you can handle Eli-chan well though." Kotori said. Honoka held Kotori's hands that was on her cheeks.

"Thank you, Kotori-chan." Honoka said and kissed Kotori's lips. Kotori smiled and kissed back.

[ Meanwhile, At Umi ]

Umi continously shooted arrows towards the target. A wood plank. The current range was... 2 kilometers forward. Umi grabbed a dark arrow and got ready to shoot it.

'I can do this.' Umi thought.

"Umi, your form isn't good. You will fall down again." A certain female said. Umi ignored her and kept looking at the target with one eye.

"Umi, are you even listening?" The girl asked. Umi still ignored her and shooted the arrow. BUT before she can do that, somehow held her waist.

"Remember, to keep steady." The girl whispered. Umi took a deep breath and shooted the arrow. Once the arrow hit the target it blew up. Umi was covering her eye with her arm.

"Steady. Don't fall down." The girl whispered, keeping Umi's body firm and steady. After the explosion, Umi was still standing because of the girl. Umi sighed in relief and turned to the tall girl.

"Serina, you don't have to come to my training everyday to 'watch over me'. I'm fine." Umi said.

"Well i'm sorry, HIME-SAMA. It was order from your father." Serina said, crossing her arms.

"Hime-- Grrr. Why are you still working under my father anyway?" Umi asked. Serina smirked and back-hugged Umi.

"It's nothing." Serina said and pecked Umi's neck. Umi sighed and gently pushed Serina back.

"I can train on my own." Umi said.

"Whatever. It's not gonna be my fault if you fall down and get hurt." Serina said and walked out of the Training Room.

[ At Nozomi, Eli, and Nico ]

"Nicocchi, wake up." Nozomi said.

"Who the hell sleeps walking?" Eli asked.

"It's not my fault! We slept very late!" Nico yelled.

"We'll sleep in Honoka-chan'd house today right?" Nozomi asked.

"Yes. Apparently, her parents are on a mission." Eli said.

"Hmmm... I see." Nozomi said.

"Honoka Kousaka, huh? I've heard rumours about that kid." Nico said.

"She's with a 'legendary' archer and the daughter of the head of Japanese Imperial Demon Army." Eli said.
