Second Night

It was now about 11:15, so I decided to eat something before I headed off to work. I started gathering what I needed to make apricot chicken, and started cooking.

Once I had sat down and started eating, I remembered what happened last night. How was Kuro moving like that? It was odd that he'd move at all considering all the animatronics are switched off at night. Or at least, they're supposed to be... But maybe it was just a glitch, like James had said.

After I had eaten, I rinsed everything and walked up to my room and got dressed into my uniform. I put on a simple pair of black leather shoes and grabbed my bag, ready to leave. I quickly checked my phone to see a few messages from my brother. I quickly skimmed through them, knowing that I should call him since, according to his messages, he's at Alfred's house right now. And I think I know what that means...

I put my phone back into my bag and left for work, making sure I locked the house. Once I had arrived, I saw James standing at the gates.

"Hey James" I said as I approached him. He nodded in response.

"I got the animatronics checked. Nothing's wrong with them, so it's probably just a one off with what you saw" he told me.

"Alright. I'm ready to start, so if anything else happens, I'll let you know tomorrow" I said as I opened the unlocked gate.

"Okay. Remember, don't let anyone in. If I need to enter, I'll call you first" he said as he headed into his car. I nodded and entered the pizzeria, locking the gate behind me. As I walked towards the office, I could feel the animatronics staring at me. It wasn't exactly a comfortable feeling, but I guess I'll be fine once I enter the office.

Once I reached the office, I sat down in the chair and quickly checked the cameras. So far, nothing was out of order. I put the cameras down and relaxed for a bit, until I heard some sort of strange humming. I checked the doors, but nobody was there. The phone started ringing, just like last night, but I've gotten a bit paranoid, so I decided to mute it. I checked the cameras, and Kuro, Lutz and Luciano are still in their places, so who was the one humming?

I looked at the other cameras, and nearly had a heart attack when I checked the second stage. The curtains were open a bit, and something's eyes were peeking out, almost glowing in the dark. I looked closer, until I realized that I recognized those eyes. The pink and blue swirls in them told me that the owner of these eyes, was none other than Oliver. I closed the cameras and tried to ignore the humming. The song sounded a bit familiar, but I'll look into that later.

After a while, Kuro had started moving again. Just like the previous night. I watched him for a while, making sure he didn't get too close. What happened next surprised me. After I checked on Kuro and found him in the dining area, I saw Lutz in one of the party rooms. I definitely need to tell James about this later. How are the animatronics moving? It can't be a glitch if it's happening again, and now Lutz is moving too? If they get into the office, I don't know what I'll do.

I checked the cameras again, and this time I noticed that Oliver was a bit further out of the curtains, which were now open slightly wider. Was he going to start moving too?

I stood up and checked the doors. I don't know why. I guess I've gotten a bit paranoid. Maybe I should call Arthur. I picked up my phone and dialed his number, only to hear more static and growling, just like yesterday. I put my phone away and looked around, getting more paranoid by the second. I sat down and tried to calm myself, until I could think properly again. I checked the time, and it was now 3am. Halfway there. I just need to stay here three more hours and I'm done for tonight.

I realized that I hadn't checked the cameras for a while. With the animatronics moving, it's probably not a good idea to ignore them. I checked the cameras again, and found Kuro in the hall close to the door. I quickly walked to the door and checked the lights, and saw Kuro standing there. I slammed the button to close the door. I checked on Lutz next, and saw him in the dining area. At least he's staying away...

After Kuro left, I opened the door again. I didn't really want to, but I was told to preserve power, and I'm scared something bad might happen if I don't.

I decided to check my phone again, in case it somehow started working again. Before I could check anything, I heard quick, heavy footsteps rushing down the left hall. I panicked and stood up, but before I could even get to the door, Oliver rushed in, making a horrible screeching sound as he did. Obviously, I was terrified. I grabbed the closest thing to me, which was the computer chair, since it wasn't that heavy.

He quickly jumped towards me, and grabbed onto my arm. How is he able to do this? I screamed as I lifted the chair with my other arm and smashed it into the side of Oliver's head, causing him to let go of me and fall backwards, twitching and making horrible noises, and I heard him saying a few of his usual old quotes, except they were broken and mixed up.

I stared at him in shock, as he kept twitching on the ground. The left side of his head was dented in, and his left eye looked like it was about to fall off. I'm gonna get into huge trouble for this...

I was startled when he started talking again, although it was still a jumble of different phrases. One particular phrase scared me the most.

"You ca-ca-can't hide for-forever, Madoka-ka"

What the hell? That can't be part of the phrases that he was programmed to say, and furthermore, how did he know my name? He definitely wouldn't be programmed to pick up names, and even if he was, nobody mentioned my name to him at all. He is supposed to be permanently shut down, after all.

I checked the time, ignoring Oliver for now, and realized that it's 4:56am. I have roughly an hour to go. Thank God for that, because I'm not sure how much longer I'll last here, especially with that whole Oliver scare.

I checked the cameras again, noticing that my power is at 32%. With an hour to go, this should hold me until my shift is over. I checked on Kuro and Lutz, as well as Luciano. Thankfully Luciano stayed in place, but after everything that's happened, I don't think I should ignore him anymore. Kuro was in one of the party rooms, but Lutz was in the hallway, and was uncomfortably close to the door. I closed the cameras and checked the light at the door, and sure enough he was there. I closed the door before he could get in, and checked on Oliver again. He was still talking and twitching, but I've pretty much decided to block him out for the sake of my sanity. I don't need to hear anything more from him after what he said to me earlier.

After a while, I checked the door lights as Lutz was gone, so I opened the door, but I had the door closed a lot longer than I had intended to, and I was now at 8%, with half an hour to go.  I need to be careful now. Well, even more careful than I was before.

Thankfully I only had one visit from Kuro, and he left pretty quickly. By the time I had reached 2%, the bells had chimed meaning 6am, and as expected, Kuro and Lutz went straight back to their spots on the stage. Oliver didn't move though, and just stayed on the ground twitching and talking the entire time. I walked around him, being careful not to get too close, and headed to the gates where James was waiting. I've got a lot to explain to him now...
