Love Finds A Way

Prologue

Astrids POV

Hiccup was standing on the edge of the cliff, observing the ocean while the dragon hunter's ships were disappearing to the horizon.

"He got the Dragon eye, didn't he?" I asked him, while putting my hand on his shoulder.

He looked at me, then at the ocean and then at the ground while raising his fists.

"We'll get it back! I promise!" I said trying to calm him down.

I know Hiccup. He probably blames himself for what happened and he probably thinks he let us down. But it's not like that. Vigo tricked us all.

"Hey, at least we got Heather back! Imagine if Vigo got the Dragon eye and Heather!" I smile to him, trying to cheer him up.

He smiles back sadly.

"Astrid, I let it happen. I..." he couldn't finish cause I interupted him

"It doesn't matter who's fault it is! We should head back to the edge and talk about what we're gonna do now!" I smile again and he smiled again.

Hiccup stayed quiet all the way home. We all did. Well, everyone except Tuffnut and Ruffnut who were fighting as usual. Heather was flying next to me. She looks sad and confused. I didn't get to ask her how she escaped from Vigo's jail!

"You were the one to mess up with the flightmare at the first place!" Ruff yelled to her brother

"What? Me? It was YOUR idea to cover ourselves with the algae!" Tuff replied not so friendly

"Guys, this is realy not the time to argue!" Fishlegs said

"It is always a good time to argue, my fine fellow!" Tuffnut said to Fishlegs

"Why do we even care. The dragon eye is gone!" Snotlout said with a bored tone

Everyone, except Hiccup turned back and looked at him with a really-not-the-time face.

Thankfully, we have arived at dragon's edge. I hope things get a little better for now on.
