I'm still thinking if I would tell Jill. I cannot imagine what will be her facial expression or the first word that she would say when she'd know everything. It's our friendship that I really care about;in a situation like this.
Then I've thought that if she's really a best friend, she could understand me and we'll still be best friends forever, I've asked some of my friends about this too.
"Candice, what would you do if you and your bff had the same crush?" I asked.
"Well, I'd give up the boy for my bff" she replied.
"How about you, Lanie and Rim?" I asked another again.
"Sacrifice my feelings too I guess" they answered.
See? Almost all of them have the same opinion but Fiona told me that it shouldn't be like that because we're bffs and bffs share each other's secrets.
I've found an oppurtunity to be alone with Jill during our lunch time. I sat beside her in the silence, it didn't feel awkward, I was just a bit nervous then I started to talk to her.
"Jill, I have to tell you something." I said.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Jill, from the very beginning... Pat and Larx wasn't really my crush, I just forced myself to like them and..."
Before I could finish what I was supposed to say, she interrupted me.
"You also like Renbert?!" she shockingly asked.
"Well, yeah. You see... I didn't tell you and forced myself to like another guy because of you" I replied.
"It's okay, Mincy. If you want you could also tell me your happy moments with him." she happily said.
"No, no. It's over, I like him no more. I'm just telling you because you're my Best Friend." I said.
"Why? It's really ok, I'm not mad." she said again.
"No, I'm ready to sacrifice my feelings for him, you know." I said.
"ohh... but why??" she asked again.
"Because I love you more than him." I said.
"Me too!" she said quickly.
Then we just smiled. Everything felt fine at the moment. I don't know what to say anymore. It feels like she've accepted what I told her but in the next days, another month and another few months...
Something has changed. The normal and the usual thing was gone...
