war?

"What do you mean started a war!?"
"They lived in a small country to the south of zootopia,the inhabitants where less the two hundred thousand,but their technology was superior......zootopia and their country was in a very thin peace,one wrong move from either side could send them into war....the side that sliped up was zootopia,the government was so scared of their technical advantage that they assassinated their head scientists earning a full out assault on zootopia"
I looked at nicks eyes and could see a hint of worry
"Overnight they had already pushed halfway through zootopias borders,zootopia had light tanks and fighters,the lunar had jets and heavy tanks that destroyed any defenders...in under 3 days they had made it to bunny burrow......bunny burrows inhabitants were slaughtered when they tryed to fight,but they managed to stall the lunars army for 9 days giving anough time for zootopia to get proper defences built,the battle for zootopia lasted almost 3 months,luckily for zootopia the lunars country never had huge amounts of resources so the lunars tanks and planes soon ran out of fuel leaving only infantry to fight,the thing is they where more deadly on foot then in their vehicles.....they fought in trenchs,building and any other cover for 7 months straight,but they had to run out of food and ammo some time,they surrounded 4 days later"
"4 days?if they ran out of food and ammo how could they still fight"
Nick looked at me and give me a simple answer
"Knifes"
"So lets me get this straight they started a war over some of their scientists deaths?"
"Thats what the internet said"
"Well they obviously did more to piss off the lunars"
Nick shrugged
"We'll never know"
We started to walk down the road back to our apartment
"Hay nick can i ask you something"
"Sure,what?"
"Why did you look so worried when you where talking about the war?"
Nick stoped in his tracks and looked down
"I...i was thinking about rin and whats going to happen to her if......"
"If what?"
"If she gets taken away from us....right now we're the only ones who can protect her"
"It wont be that bad if she ge-"
"Judy do you even know what happens to her kind if they are found out of prison?"
I shook my head
"They get gassed"

Nicks P.O.V

Judys eyes widened and her jaw droped
"W-what why!?"
"Its for what happened during the war....they raped and murdered woman and children,hanged surrendered soldiers"
"But that doesn't make sence,why must the newer generation pay for what happened during the war!?it just doesn't make sences!"
"I know carrots...i know"
I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug
I dont get why they get treated that way either......

Still nicks P.O.V

We walked back into the apartment,rin was sitting on the couch watching tv,she looked up at us and slightly smiled
I could tell judy was on the brink of tear
She ran up to rin and hugged her tight suprising rin but she didn't resist
Geuss she needed a hug more than i thought she did
Judy broke the hug
"Rin," she looked into her eyes
"how would you feel if...if we adopted you?"
