"So what are we doing again carrots?"
Judy rolled her eyes
"How meny times have i told you this nick!some mammals report screems and shouting next door to them,we have to find out whats happening over there,at claw apartments"
Nick thought for a bit
"So domestic violence?"
Judy noded

(At claw apartments)

Judy's P.O.V

We hoped out the car and walked over to the apparents,we where greeted by an old goat
"Welcome to claw app-" he stoped his introduction when he noticed our uniforms and badges
"Oh the ZPD,your here about the violence next door?"
I noded
"Can you tell us anything befor we go in?" Nick asked taking his shades off
"Yes,a couple a small black fox and a chubby jaguar,well we thought they where a couple,moved in here a week ago thats when it all started"
"Anything else?"
"We think the one thats getting abused is the smaller black fox"
I noded and write down what he had said
"Okay so which room is it?"
The old goat pointed to the top of the complex
"Top floor first door on your right"
We noded and made our way into the building and up the stairs
"Black fox huh...wounder how they ended up together"
I shrugged still climbing up the stairs
"Maby he did something for it or saved it"
"Doesn't explain why the jaguar is abusing it then.."
We made it to the top floor when there was a sudden screem
Nick pulled out his tranquiliser gun befor kicking the door open
"ZPD HANDS IN THE AIR!"
I ran into the room with nick to see that jaguar was chocking the fox
Nick growled and shot him making the jaguar fall to the ground out cold,droping the fox in the process
It was then we noticed the fox was a she,she dosent look older than 14
She was coughing and gasping for air,i quickly ran over to her to help her
Nick was on the radio calling for some back up to take this...bastered
"You okay?" Nick asked the smaller fox,shes literally as tall as me
She shook her head,no
"Whats wrong?"
She pointed to her leg
I looked at it and could instantly see it was broken,not only that their in pritty bad shape,bruises and cuts all over her small body
Nick looked at me
"We need to get her to a hospital"
He noded
Nick lifted the little fox up trying not to hurt her
Befor we left i hand cuffed the jaguar to bars on the window
We rushed downstairs and into our car befor racing to the hospital

No ones P.O.V

They made it to the hospital suprisingly fast,and rushed in nick carrying the small fox
Nick ran up to the first doctor he saw,a badger
"We need some help,shes got a broken leg and alot of cuts"
The doctor quickly examined her,his expression changed quickly
"There no way im helping this,this thing"
Nick growled angrily
"WHY NOT,DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST FOXS!?"
The badger looked angrily at nick
"I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST FOXS,JUST HER KIND!"
Judys blood began to boil
"SHES A FOX!NOTHING ELSE!" She shouted at the doctor
"THIS IS WHY IM NOT HELPING!" The doctor shouted while pointing at a large metal collar around the little fox's neck
By now the whole hospital was staring at them
"SECURITY!Take these two out now!"
Nick growled as two rhinos walked up to him
"Nick lets go,no ones going to help us..." judy said sadly
The left the hospital angryer than ever
"What type of racist fu-"
"Nick...just stop.."
His ears lowered
"i just dont understand...shes done nothing wrong,and this thing around her neck what the hell is it?"
Judy shrugged hopelessly
Nick put her in the backseat of the car
Judy got in the passenger seat while nick got in the driver seat
They started the car and began to drive to the ZPD
Judy turned around and looked at the smaller fox trying to take in all of her details
Thes wearing a maid dress,obviously that jaguar had some twisted ideas
Her eyes where a dull red,tears stained her fur on her face
Shes a pure black fox with a spot of gray around her paws
"I just noticed,we dont even know your name yet" nick said not looking back
He ears shot up as her eyes widened slightly
"r-r-rin" her voice cracked out
Judy smiled at rin
"Thats a nice name"
Rin slightly smiled

Nick's P.O.V

Rin huh...
Oh we're here
I got out and walked around the car and got rin out,trying not to hurt her more than she already is
Her dull eyes stared up at me as i took her into the ZPD
I just hope someone here can patch up her wounds..

Judys P.O.V

She stared up at nick as we walked in
We walked straight up to Clawhauser
"Hay ben,you wouldn't know first aid would you?"
"Ya wh-" he turned around to see rin his eyes went wide
"Awwww!shes so cute,and hurt,oh boy"
I giggled alittle by his reaction
"Shes got a broken leg and no one wants to help us...."
"That sucks,well ill see what i can do,oh ya um chief wants to see you both"
Oh crap,hope hes not going to shout at us....again
"Okay ben,see what you can do" nick looked down at rin
"Its okay ben heres going to patch you up okay?"
She noded
Nick placed rin down on a chair so ben can help her

We made our way to bogo office and nocked on the door
"Come in!"
Oh boy,hes in a bad mood
We walked in and rold us to sit down
"Y-you wanted to see us?" I could tell nick was nervous from the way hes stuttering
"Yes i did,would you mind explaining to me how you let A RAPIST GET AWAY!"
Rapist!?
"Wait that ja-" nick realised
"Was a rapist!"
"But sir i hand cuffed him to the bars on the windows" i said
"Did you take into consideration that the window bars WHERE RUSTED!"
My ears fell down
"N-no sir"
Chief sighed
"But you did get one of his victims to safety,dismissed"
As we exited the room we saw rin sitting on a chair
She smiled alittle
I noticed ben did a good job at patching her up
Nick helped her up and began carrying her...again
We walked down stairs and to up to ben
He smiled at us
"So i did my best at fixing her leg,she should be able to walk in a couple weeks"
I smiled back
"Thanks ben we owe you one"
"Oh nick i did a search up on rin,like you asked,and it came out empty,shes not registered into any of our systems basically she doesn't exist here in zootopia" ben suddenly said
My ears went back
Nick looked kind of shocked but at the same time he looked as if he expected it
"Oh and...um she has to stay here until someone fetchs her or she goes to a children's home.." ben suddenly said suprising me and nick both,probably even rin

Nicks P.O.V

A children's home....shes been abused and almost raped and now she has to go to a children's home?..
I looked down at rin her eyes where wide and she was shaking her head
"I-ill take care of her!" Judy suddenly said catching me off gaurd,same for rin
"Really!" Ben said happily
"But isn't your place to small?" I said looking at judy
Her ears lowered but then suddenly shot back up
"I can move into a bigger apartment!"
Bens face went grim
"You wont be able to with your salary.."
"I can help!"
Crap why did i say that!
"Really!?" Judy said happily
"But that means....OMG!YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO MOVE IN TOGETHER!"
"WHAT WHY!?" Me and judy shouted at the same time
"Most apartments are like that,you both have to move in or no one stays"
I looked at judy and she seemed to be blushing?

Judys P.O.V

Me and nick.....move in together!?
My mind was going haywire
I could feel my cheeks heating up just think of-
N-no nick wouldn't do that we're just friends....right?
