Chapter 6 Growing Apart

"August get the hell up you got shit to do!," I yell, not caring Gloria cares.

"I don't wanna,"

"I bet if I get some cold water you will,"

"I'm up, " I laugh and walk towards the doorway. 

"Be ready in 20 minutes," I say closing the door behind me.   I make us breakfast real quick, I make eggs, pancakes, bacon, and fresh orange juice. 

"Aw you cooked," he says, I look up and he looks so good.

"Yeah eat up," I set his plate infront of him. I walk to the stool next to him, he grabs me and squeezes me.

"Thank you best friend!," he yells into my ear.

"August!," I laugh and yell. "We don't have time to be playing around,"

"THANK YOU!,"

"Your welcome!," He lets me go and laughs. "Oh yeah you have to wake up Gloria as well," I say.

"Who said she coming?,"

"Well damn," I say cutting my pancakes.

"She not ready for all of this," He does a body roll.

"Ew,"

"You weren't saying ew when we were in that bed, "

"Shh," I say stuffing his mouth with pancakes. "Shut up!," He smiles and chews on his food.

"Its okay," he rubs my back. I smile and we finish eating.

"That's a wrap," everybody claps and proud that August finished the video. 

"I just want to thank everybody in helping me make this video work!," August says. We all clap and cheer, I walk to the snack table to grab a water. "Wassup," August says as his hands on the sides of my stomach. He puts his head in the crook of my neck.

"Hi August," I say. "Good job,"

"Well you know how I do," He says cocky.

"Your dumb," I laugh and turn around. My phone vibrates in my back pocket and August snatches it. "August give me back my phone," I say he raises it in the air and answers the text. "August!," I jump to reach my phone. "AUGUST!,"

"I need a kiss first," I look at him like what did I say last night. "Oh come on just a peck, for your phone and I just finished the video. I really want to kiss him but I don't want him knowing that. I get on my tippy toes and peck his lips. "Mhmm sweet Melanie," he says against my lips. I smile and get off my tippy toes.

"August come go get dressed we have an interview to get to," his manager says.

"Ugh," he walks away and blows me a kiss. "lets go Mel,"

"Who said I was going, interviews are boring,"

"So your going to make me suffer, nah you coming," He picks me up and I get on his back. My phone rings, and I answer it.

"hello?,"

"Wassup, "Cameron says into the phone.

"Hey,"

"What you doing," August tickles my thigh. I slap his arm and try to listen to Cameron.

"Nothing, what about you?,"

"Just got off of work, you wanna chill," August slaps my thigh.

"Stop," I say moving the phone away from my mouth. He chuckles as I continue to talk to Cameron.

August POV

"So you leaving?," I ask Melanie.

"Yeah, I have a life too," I suck my teeth and look away.

"Whatever," I say closing the door in her face. I walk back to the couch and Gloria walks downstairs.

"Hey ba-,"

"Get the fuck out my house," I say, over her.

"What?,"

"Leave,"

"Call me when your doing having an attitude," She says grab her stuff and walking out. I light my joint and chill back. 

Melanie POV

"Whatever," he says closing the door in my face. I am shocked, I shake my head and head to Cameron's house.

I get to Camerons house and we start drinking and smoking.

"You drank it!," I yell laughing.

"Yeah you weren't so I drank it all," I shake my head and sit on the couch next to him. "Here," he hands me the joint. I take a puff and exhale, I smile. Cameron takes a hit and does a shotgun into my mouth. I laugh and fall onto him. I get up and lay out on the couch.

"Oh fuck!," I yell out of the blue. I feel soft kisses onto my leg up my waist, and on my neck. "Cameron," I wrap my legs around his waist, his soft lips onto mine. His takes off my shirt, and I take off my shoes. He picks me up and carries me upstairs and places me on the bed.

"RING RING!," I open my eyes and turn over, I grab my phone.

"Hello?,"

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!," August yells.

"Don't yell at me, don't worry about it," I say not wanting to wake Cameron.

"NAH MELANIE WHERE ARE YOU!,"

"Somewhere why do you care?,"

"MELANIE IF YOU DONT TELL ME WHERE THE HELL YOU ARE WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SOME PROBLEMS,"

"Shh, your too loud," I laugh.

"WHAT THE FUCK MELANIE RODRIGUEZ,"  He never calls me by my full name. Shit just got real. "WHERE ARE YOU!,"

"Why do you care talk to Gloria,"

"DONT BRING HER INTO YOUR SHIT! WHERE ARE YOU!,"

"I don't know?,"

"Fuck you serious! IM NOT PLAYING GAMES!,"  Cameron gets up and kisses me everywhere.

"Okay okay im on my way to your house," I hang up and turn around.
