Chapter Three

"That'll be £4.70 please" the taxi driver asked, we were finally here. At this point my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest any minute, why am I so nervous? We got out our taxi and walked towards the house, "wow" I gazed at the beautiful white house which looked about twice the size of my old one, "pretty decent right?" Tom smirked. I don't know why I had never been to Tom's before, I guess it's just because he always came to see us so there was no need to travel to see him, even if I wanted to I was super busy with finishing school. My mouth dropped at the sight of it, right infront of me was a grand staircase, it looked as though the kitchen was on the right and I guessed by the loud talking that the living room was on the left. Tom gestured for me to follow him in there, I took in a deep breath and followed him.

"Hey boys, this is Shannon" Tom said, three heads turned to my direction and I felt myself turning a light shade of pink. They all got up and walked towards me with big smiles on their face, "Hey I'm Jay, the cool member of the group" I couldn't help but giggle, "Hey I'm Shannon" I responded. Soon enough the other two who I had learned to be Max and Siva had greeted me and introduced themselves, I don't know what I was so worried about they all seem lovely. "Oh, baby Nath is staying at a mates tonight so you'll have to meet him tomorrow" Max said, "ah okay then" I smiled, great I thought all the meeting and greeting was over and done with but clearly not.

"So how about I show you to your room?" Tom said, a massive smile spread across his face and I didn't even have to answer, he took me by the hand and lead me upstairs. "Okay so these rooms here are mine Jay's, Siva's and Max's" he said, "and the ones up here on the next floor are yours and Nathan's" he continued as we walked up another flight of stairs. We walked over to the two doors and made our way into the one on the right, I gasped. "omg Tom this is beautiful" I screeched, the walls were a cream colour, there was a double bed on the far side of the room, a massive tv on the wall and lots of floral accessories that ran as a theme through the room. "Surely you didn't design this yourself?" I asked, "Yes I did actually" he responded, I raised an eyebrow at him and he let out a laugh, "No Kelsey designed the whole thing, I thought it would be best to leave it up to her since you know, she's a girl and stuff" he said. Kelsey was Tom's girlfriend, I had met her plenty of times and we were really close, she's like the sister that I never had. "I knew it!" I smirked, "Okay so I'll leave you to unpack and then we'll sort out dinner" Tom said as he headed to the door, "Okay then see you in a bit" the door shut and I turned back around to admire my new bedroom.

It didn't take me long to unpack as I didn't have many things with me so soon enough I was back in the living room with the other boys."Okay so there's one very important question we need to ask you" Max said, I felt myself tense "um okay" I replied hesitantly, "what football team do you support?" I let out a laugh but soon stopped when I realised they were all being completely serious, "well I don't really watch it but I support Manchester United I guess" a series of boo's and hisses came from the boys, "same as Nath, he supports those scum" Tom said, "wow you boys really take football seriously don't you" I said, they all nodded "it's our religion" max replied, yikes.

We ordered a take away to 'celebrate my arrival' as Tom put it, and got to know each other. They're all honestly the most down to earth boys i've ever met, I can't say the same about Nathan as I haven't actually met him yet but from what the boys have said about him, he seems lovely. I'm really nervous about meeting Nathan because he's the closest to my age out of them all, in fact there's only a year and a half between us, I don't know why that makes me feel so anxious- it just does.

Soon enough it was gone midnight and my tiredness got the better of me, "right boys I'm off to bed so I'll see you all in the morning" I yawned half way through the sentence and they all laughed. "Oh yeah about that, we've all got to shoot off early in the morning to go meet with Jayne and go through a few things, since Nathan won't be coming he'll be back around lunchtime." Tom said, "so don't be alarmed when you hear somebody come in, it'll just be him". I nodded, "oh okay then, thanks for letting me know" a series of goodnight's were shouted in my direction as I turned and made my way to my bedroom.
