Mom:
David and I were sitting on the couch watching tv. I heard the phone ring and hoping that it was Sarah or Molly. I tried to jump off the couch and rush over and grab my phone but David grabbed my wrist and pulled me back on the couch.
"David! Let go of me!" I tried pulling my arm away but he wouldn't budge.
"No Adrianna, sit and watch tv with me." I got up and shot him a look of disgust.
"What if it's my kids!" I busted out of his arms and the phone stopped ringing. A tear rolled down my face, I missed the call. Out of nowhere the phone rang again and I answered immediately.
"Hi mom." I heard my Sarah's sweet voice say through the phone and all I could think about was that after all the bad things I put her through she still came back to me.
"Sarah! Oh my gosh are you ok!?" All I wanted to do was hold my baby's in my arms again and never let them go.
"Yeah mom we're fine."
"Where are you? I'll go get you and bring you home."
"Um...well...I'm not gonna tell you where we are."
When she said that it confused me because it's like she doesn't want to come home but why would she call if she didn't want to come home?
"Then why'd you call sweetheart?"
"I just wanted to tell you that we were fine and we need a little more time alone. So bye." Sarah said then hung up.
I went back into the living room and sat on the couch far away from David. He pulled me closer, I started crying and he put his arm around me and kissed the top of my head.
Molly:
"Sarah who were you talking to?" I asked when I walked into the kitchen.
"My friend." Sarah said quickly and shoved her phone in her pocket.
I could tell that she wasn't telling me the truth. She wasn't looking at me when she talked like she does every time she lied to me. It made me kind of mad that she didn't tell me the truth so I just went into my room and looked at my phone to see ur there were any missed calls or messages. There was one message from Jeany that said, "Hey baby Just checking on you hope you're having fun."
I didn't answer and turned off my phone so I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. I got sweats and a sweatshirt and took a long bath. All I could think of was Blake. Sarah's going out tomorrow so maybe I can talk to Blake. I closed my eyes and sighed, wanting things to be back to normal. After my bath I threw on my clothes and went to bed.
Sarah:
After I hung up the phone with mom, Molly walked in and looked at my phone.
"Sarah who were you talking to?" She asked as she walked through the kitchen door. I couldn't tell her it was mom, she would miss her more.
"My friend." I put my phone in my pocket and started looking around the room, when I lied I could never look at people's eyes. Molly went and took a bath so I went through my messages and saw the ones with mom before I left. I miss her so much. What she put Molly and I through is unforgivable. I miss Cole, I haven't called since that day. I wonder how he is doing. Maybe it was good that he left, all I would do is hurt him. After Molly went to bed and I decided to go in bed, but I couldn't fall asleep so I sat by the lake until the sun rose.
