chapter 4 Diagon Alley

"Goodmorning Anna!"

"Goodmorning molly!" I said as I reached the bottom of the stairs heading down to get breakfast.

Everyone else was already sitting at the table. I took my seat between Fred and George.

While we where eating we heard Earl, the Wesley's mail owl. As usual he flew smacked right into the closed window, even though the other side was wide open.

"Percy go get the mail." Molly said

Percy got up and got the mail.

"It's our Hogwarts letters, Harry's too."

"Dumbledore must know your here, can't get nothing by that man." Author said

"Boy not gonna be cheap this year. These books are expensive." Fred said

I looked over the list and Fred was right, after breakfast I would have to have a talk with molly.

"Well there's only one place we can get all this. Tomorrow we'll go to diagonally."

I walked up to molly after breakfast.

"Molly you know Fred's right those books won't be cheap even second hand ones won't. You know, here you've been taking care of me and now Harry. "

"Anna I know what your gonna say and I don't want you even thinking about it-"

"No please let me pay for it I'll give you the money and you can get the books. "

"Anna-"

"Please Molly don't worry about it, and I won't hear another word about it." I walked up to her and put my hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes. "It's the least I can do for you, You've been like a mother to me. "

Molly looked in to my eyes and nodded her head then she pulled me in for a hug. "Thank you dear."

The next day we all got ready and gathered around the chimney.

"Okay Harry you first." molly said.

"But mom Harry's never traveled by flew before." Ron said

"Oh yes you go first then Ron."

Ron walked in to the chimney.

"Diagon Alley." And he dropped the dust and in a ball of green smoke he disappeared.

Well now you Harry. "Just take a handful of flew powder and say where you wanna go ever clearly and drop it. "

Harry nodded and then said, "Well something but I know it wasn't Diagon Alley. "

We all looked at each other after he disappeared and I began to laugh.

" I think that's how Hagrid pronounced diagonally when we first took him there." I said still laughing.
" I'm sure he'll be fine." And with that we all went on to diagonally.

When we got there I ran over and got some money out of the vault. I then ran and gave some to molly to buy all our books. Everyone was all in an up roar at Flourish and Blotts because the "great" Gilderoy Lockhart. I rolled my eyes, frankly I loath the man he's just a big fraud. But everyone else, especially the ladies worshiped the ground he walked on, even Molly.

"Oh look who Hermione found." Fred said.

"Oh Hermione." I rushed over and gave her a hug.

"I missed you." I said letting her go.

"Same here." She said

"And Harry where did you go off to."

"Oh Harry dear, good your Alright." Molly said." Oh look he's coming!"

And out stepped Lockhart with the usual sticking large smile on his face.

A man was taking his picture for the daily profit.

"Harry Potter," he said noticing Harry

"Oh Harry Potter!" the man from the newspaper grabbed Harry and shoved him over to lockhart he then looked back at me, oh and Anastasia he tried to reach over and grab me but I stepped back. "I wouldn't take a picture with him if my life depended on it."

He didn't say another word, he then turned around and started to take pictures.

I rolled my eyes and walked up to the front with Ginny, Fred, and George.

"Alright there Anna, seems that lockhart got you worked up a bit." Fred said

"Uhhh that idiot, I hope he gets his head knocked off on his next adventure." I said

Fred and George just laughed

"Anna why do you dislike him so?" Ginny asked

Just look at him over there just an outrageously stuck up bloke. I said rolling my eyes

Harry, Hermione, and Ron came walking over.

"Well you must have loved that potter, can't even go into a book store with out making it in to the paper." Draco Malfoy said walking down from the stairs right in front of us all.

"Leave him alone." Ginny said

"Oh look you have a little girl friend potter. "

"What you jealous Draco?" I said with a smirk

"now Draco, oh who do we have here, why Harry Potter, I'm Lucius Malfoy."

He then looked over at me. For a split second a strange look came to his face but in the next instant it was gone.

"Well, even your sister Anastasia."

Before Malfoy could say much else Author came over, and naturally, a few rather insolent remarks flew before the Malfoy's left.

"Author you know you can't let him get under your skin like that, that's just what he wants." I say as we all walked out of the shop and out in to the busy street way.

"Ah your right Anna, he just ughhh..."

I chuckled a bit and gave Arthur a pat on the back and then went to walk with the twins.

I walked up and took my normal spot between them.

They both looked down at me and smiled.

"Hello beautiful." George said

I looked up surprised, I looked over at Fred and saw he was even taken back a bit by Georges comment.

"Hey." I said looking down with a blush across my face.

"Alright everyone go up and pack up your new things." Molly said as we walked in to the Burrow, "now hurry up dinner will be ready soon."
