I was starting to get used to the "slave" life. While the first few months were awful, life with the hunters got progressively easier. I was once looked like a pig. Now, I am a brother. So like I said, life as a slave was good. That was until I was scrubbing Mr. D's feet...

"Make sure you you srub it with the 1951 Penfolds Grange Hermitage." He moaned with pleasure," Such a magnificent year!"

After the most disgusting moment of my life, I had to sharpen three thousand arrows for Apollo. He didn't know about all the arrows I had to sharpen for Artemis, this was nothing.

Next, Demeter wanted me to harvest over fifty acres of farm land, by hand! I also had to do it in under a hour. Thank the gods I was given a scythe with over a ten foot reach.

I then had to fight over sixty skeleton warriors for Ares. That itself took forever. Mainly because the skeletons would not die.

My dad, thank Chaos, just made me tame a wild shark. That was nothing.

Hephestus made me find a huge deposit of celestial bronze for his next project. I may or may not have had help from Hazel. But don't speak a word of it! (I will gut you if you do!)

Aphrodite made me hold up a mirror so she could fix her make up, Hades made me get a new chew toy for Cerberus, Hestia made me give her a brotherly hug. (Nothing more!) Hera forced me to apologize for every single insult I said about her, that took awhile. Hermes then made me steal Ares's sword when he wasn't looking. At first I was afraid of what Athena had in store for me. I was completely surprised when she told me to put a spider under Annabeth's bed. I know she was mad at Annabeth, but not that mad!

Two gods left, Zeus and Artemis. I approached Zeus expecting the worst. Instead he leaned into my ear and said these nine words, "If you live, treat her right, thats's my task."

"Yes sir." I said bowing. Last and certainly not least, was Artemis. I smiled in relief when I saw her, If over a thousand people weren't watching us, I would have kissed her, "What is your task, My lady." I said with sarcasm.

"I actually have a wonderful idea," she grabbing my hand, "How does Paris sound?"

"Say what?" I said, I must of has a pretty dumb face.

"My task is for you to take me out on a date." She said smacking my cheek playfully.

Before I could say a word, I was flashed to what seemed like a high up place. I already knew where this was, I was on the top of the Eiffel Tower. The same place Annabeth and I once went. No one was around me. A waiter then showed up.

"Is it only you?" He had a french accent.

"No sir, my date is coming. I think..."

As if on queue, a girl a little older than me stepped out of a door way. She wore a silver dress, the same silver dress... Artemis. Her hair was the same, the small amount of makeup was the same. The same as the dance at New Rome. Our first kiss.

I stepped up from out candlelit table and and pulled out her seat.

"Why thank you." She said sitting down.

I let go of her hand and sat across from her.

"What would you like to drink?" The waiter said.

Artemis was going to say something but I already knew what she wanted, "Two blue cokes please."

The man looked baffled, but nodded his head and went away.

Aretmis smiled, "Took the words right from my mouth."

"This place is beatiful." She said looking around.

"No kidding, I never thought I would come back here." I said smiling looking around.

"What are you talking about?"

"I was once here with, she-who-shall-not-be-named, but oh well. I could care less to see her again."

She laughed, "Glad to hear."

"Here is your drinks," the waiter said appering out of nowhere. It was weird, they put the cokes in wine glasses, "What would you like to eat?"

I was going to say pizza, but Artemis stopped me, "Two pepperoni pizzas please."

I taught her so well, it almost brings a tear to my eye.

The waiter smiled and walked out of the room, I'm glad we weren't in Rome. That waiter from before probaly would kill us for ordering two pizzas.

Not longer after the pizzas came out in all their cheese glory.

I have to admit, my first date with Artemis went alot better than what Annabeth and I's first date went. No monsters, no annoying people, no quest, just me and Artemis. Just the way I wanted it.

Around two hours later, Artemus was dying of laughter, I told her this witty joke about Apollo.

"Was this a task complete?" I asked.

"Not yet, your forgeting one thing." Sge started to tap her cheek.

"I'll one up it." I stood up and planted my lips onto hers. After a minute a little bit we pulled apart, "now?"

She smiled, "Yeah, I guess so."
