Eureka Pov.
*Beep Beep* *Beep Beep* "Ugh, stupid clock!" I said while trying to reach for the off button but failed miserably. *BEEP* *BEEP* "UGH! SHUT UP!" I shouted finally knocking the living crap out of my clock to the wall, probably broken now.
'...Oh well, mom will get me a new one, again.' Rolling out of bed, I zombie walk to my closet took out my blue and black school uniform then off to the bathroom I go.
~2 minutes later~
Mom: I could hear the small pitter-patter steps of my only daughter's feet scurrying through upstairs.
'So she finally awake?' With a smile and a deep breath, I called out to my child just to make sure she was awake.
"Good morning sweetie, you're up a bit earlier than usual today!" I shouted while making breakfast.
Eureka: "Really, I didn't notice, what time is it!?" I called back while washing my hair.
Mom: "It's almost 6:20; school doesn't start until 8:05. You usually wake up at 6:40 on the dot, is there something special happening today?" I asked while setting the table.
Eureka: "Well yeah mom, have you forgotten? Today is the last day to turn in our field trip forms to one of the TDA space stations near the Mars sector, and our last days in junior high. I really hope we get assigned to the ship dad and Ni-ni is on to transport us to the station." I said making my way to the table to eat mom's awesome breakfast.
Mom: "Oh really, well I should make plans on what I should make for you, your father, and your older brother to eat when you get there." I said already planning the meal.
Eureka: "Okay mom, but we'll be leaving next Monday, and I don't think well be allowed to bring our own lunch, so don't overwork yourself okay." I said while chugging down the food keeping an eye on the time (6:30).
"I know sweetie, but I just don't want you, your father, and brother to starve. You know space can make you sick if you don't eat properly an-" *ding-dong* Before mom could finish her lecture, the doorbell ringed and it was probably my friends waiting for me.
"Well I guess it's time for me to go; see you later mom!" I said to her giving her a peck on the cheek.
Mom: "Okay see y- oh Eureka don't forget your lunch!" I said to her holding out her bento box.
Eureka: "Oh yeah, thanks mom you're the best, love you." I said while grabbing my lunch, opened the door, then ran as fast as I could outside with my three friends following from behind.
