Third POV

"Akaaaashiii!" Akaashi sighs and stares in a long pause. "Yes Bokuto-san?" Bokuto smiles in excitement. "Wanna hang out tonight??" Akaashi tilts his head. "Tonight?" He nods.
"Yeah cause i thought you'd like to see the fireworks and there's a festival going on too!!"

Akaashi nervously smiles. "That sounds great bokuto-san." Bokuto explodes into happiness. "Woohoo i get to hang out with Akaashii!! HEY HEY HEY!" He looks up and mumbles. "It won't be that bad, right?" Bokuto leans close to Akaashi's face and blinks, before hoisting him up high while chuckling.

"BE READY FOR THE MOST AMAZING TIME TONIGHT AKAASHII!!" Akaashi slightly snickered to Bokuto's claims. "Oh it's going to end badly isn't it?" Akaashi paused for a moment, turning his head to face Bokuto with a reassuring smile. Bokuto with a large grin on his face, ran off as the sun began to set, leaving Akaashi to walk home and get ready for what the night had in store for them.

The dark haired boys parents were on a trip overseas, so he had all time to practice his violin music. He had a talent for music, creating a vivid picture with every note he would preform, as if one could see the notes flying through the air.
He practiced until he was satisfied with what he had played, wanting to continue to make his music the only thing to pop out for his first support, Bokuto.

As he began to wrap up the last sheet of music, a sudden knock was heard through the echoing halls. Akaashi, putting his violin down gently, walks up to the door to peek through the small whole, softly smiling as he reached for the doorknob, It was Bokuto. He noticed Bokuto was relaxed and had his eyes closed gently, which he couldn't help but notice. Before her could react further, the white haired boy turned to face him, his bright yellow moon shined eyes peered onto Akaashi's dark brown ones, a huge grin appearing on his face.

"Why'd you stop?" Bokuto asked. "How'd you get here so quickly?" Akaashi questioned. "I have my ways." He didn't even want to know how Bokuto got the stamina to reach his house. "You ready to head out Bokuto-san?" Akaashi looks over at him, slowly closing the door behind him as he walked towards him. "HECK YEAH!!" Bokuto perks up as Akaashi then holds out his hand. "Let's go then."

They arrived at the festival, as tradition both wearing Jibei's of a similar color to their counterparts, Akaashi in a black and white and Bokuto in a black and greyish. They begin to walk past booths, kids running around, families enjoying buffets, a lively and friendly atmosphere. Bokuto seemed to be enjoying the fun very much himself, holding skewers as he stuffed his face, meanwhile Akaashi cleaning after him as he scolds him slightly.

As the night sky mixed with the lanterns lighting up the way, Akaashi saw something that caught his eye, a violin case with a white owl etched onto it, the dark oak providing a better view for it. Bokuto catching wind, grabbed his hand and dragged him toward the booth before admiring the case. Akaashi slowly caressing the small owl carving as he chuckled softly to himself.

"It's so cool!!" Bokuto interrupted, his eyes were gleaming, Akaashi smiling as he sighs softly. "It's pretty nice." He turned to Bokuto, before his face grew calm, more relaxed as his eyes looked at him with sincerity. "I'm enjoying my time with you Bokuto-san." Bokuto was caught off guard at those words and stuttered, "W-well it's n-nice being with y-you too akaashi."

Out of the sudden shots are heard in the distance, Bokuto thought it was the fireworks but realized it wasn't time for them to appear yet. Looking around, the people began to run, one after the other pushing each other as more began screaming and scattering. The noise became distant as his body tensed up, freezing in the same spot as he felt warm hand grasp onto his tightly as his body refused to move any further.

Then it occured to him, they were in danger.

"Oh my god!" A person screamed as a body slammed to the floor, causing Bokuto to come back to reality. Blood began running through the cracks of the pavement beneath Bokutos feet as his eyes slowly fell down, staring at the crimson fluids before slowly focusing on the person on the floor. His face grew pale as his breath hitched, It didn't take Bokuto that long to realize, the body lying on the cold, hard floor, bleeding out, was no other than Akaashi.

"Call an ambulance!!" Another person screamed. Bokuto stared in shock as the ends of his hairs began to stand, chills rising in his body as he watched the blood seep into his Zori sandals, staining his Tabis.  Akaashi's Jibei was soaked with his own blood, the white parts slowly turning red from the blood piling beneath his own body.

Bokuto with trembling hands reached down to him as the world fell into deaf ears, his eyes shaking as tears welled up. He dropped onto his knees as he unconsciously pressed against the wound Akaashi had, attempting to stop the bleeding as his teeth clenched tightly.

"AKAASHI!" He started to sob. "CALL AN AMBULANCE! PLEASE SOMEONE!" He held the boy close to him and continued to press on his wound, the blood seeping through his fingers, the warm sensation on his fingers made his own blood run cold. The wound was as clear as day, for the blood was seeping out of his head. It would be a miracle if he would get medical attention and recovery, after all, he was pale and hardly breathing, his pulse dropping by the second.

As the scene began to fade, the sound of loud sirens finally ringing through Bokuto's ears as his head peaked up, clearly out of it. The medic quickly seeing them as they remove Akaashi from Bokuto's grasp. Bokuto then quickly reaching out as he began to bawl, he grabbed the medic as he pleaded with him to let him go with, the woman hesitating before nodding. Her face slightly lowered as he joined them, rushing as fast as they could go to the nearest hospital.

What must've felt like an eternity in the emergency room, a doctor comes over to Bokuto holding a clipboard, a cold gaze as he trembles with anxiety. The doctor sighs, slightly concerning him as the man looks up. "Do you have any relation to the patient?" Bokuto looked down before meddling his fingers together. "He's my childhood friend. He's family to me." The doctor then shakes his head before handing him the papers. "Please let the parents know that the patient is stable, but he is currently unconscious."

As the doctor walked away, a nurse had pat his shoulder, checking in on him as she had a spare chance of clothes for him. It didn't occur to him that he was still covered in his best friends blood, as he nodded weakly to the offer. As he finished cleaning, the nurse had sat him down and explained calmly about the possibilities of his recovery, but one for certain was damaged. The bullet had lodged within his eardrum, rupturing it in the process, causing what could be deafness for the foreseeable future that becomes of him.
