Third P.O.V

"It's going to be okay."

Bokuto said to himself. The white haired boy paced around the white tiled hallways as he stared above him, the surgery in progress sign glowing as bright as the highlights in the sky, giving him more anxiety than necessary of what was happening in the room ahead of him. He began to bite his nails slightly, in a more comedic manner to ease the mood for himself. A mixture of happiness and distraught fought inside his brain as the anticipation of any news grew.

"Akaashi should be okay, and I'll be able to tell him...and he'll finally be able to hear the sounds he loves so much..."

Bokuto smiled softly as he fiddled his fingers together knowing what would occur once Akaashi done with his last surgery, they would be able to converse, and Bokuto would finally hear the violin playing the melody he longed for. He began to prepare the room next door for Akaashi to be brought in, as he made it more comfortable for him to be in when he awakened from his surgery.

Akaashi P.O.V

It's nerve wracking. It's today and I start to trail off edge.

What'll happen if the surgery doesn't go right? What if I..? No. I'm not going to think that, after all Bokuto-san worked so hard for this moment.

I step into my house and get into the shower.

I think to myself, once I meet up with Bokuto-san and we'll arrive at the hospital, I'll be able to finally hear his voice again.

After getting ready I meet up with him and smile, "everything will be okay", those words flash in my mind. "I promise."

Memory flashback

"Akaashi check out my new cast!" I see a boy with spiky hair run up to me. It's Koutaro.

"Hey bokuto-san! I see you finally got your cast."

He smiles. "Yep! I am pretty reckless after all!" I sigh and laugh a little. "You're silly."

He grins. "Akaashi when I grow up, will you be by my side? Like take care of me and stuff?"

He looked at me with his eyes gleaming as I blush. "M-moron of course I am. No matter what happens I'll be here."

He explodes into happiness. "HEY HEY HEY!" He looks up then laughs. "Akaashi will only be mine! And he wil be my perfect house wife and only stays by me!"

I blush like a tomato. "K-kōtarō.. Please stop embarrassing me.."

He bends down and holds my hand as if we were getting engaged.

"But remember, I'll stay by your side, forever and always, Keiji."

I grin. "Forever and always."

~ At the hospital ~

Bokuto's P.O.V

"What do you mean.." I stare at the doctor as he sighs. "The operation went well but I think it's best to keep him away from loud and harmful noises to protect his hearing."

I look at him, "Can I see him..?"

He nods as i walk into the room and see him. "Akaashi..?" I see him wake up and smile at me. "Bokuto-san.."

I tear up and jump to him grabbing him into my arms and break into sob. He comforts me as he begins to tear up too. "I can finally hear you..." He cupped my face and wiped my tears.

"I'm glad, bokuto-san..you don't know how happy I am.." He puts his head on mine. "I love you Bokuto-san.."

I blink and laugh. "Akaashi I love you too!" I smile sadly and pull him into a kiss. "I love you so much.." But I'm going to have to tell him soon. I'm running out of time..if I don't tell him soon..

I a deep breath and sigh. "Akaashi." He looks at me. "Yes Bokuto-san?" I look down. "How do I put this..Akaashi, I..."

Everything falls silence as Akaashi stares at me in horror. I knew he wouldn't take it so lightly. Only a couple days until it the stages take place.

Akaashi's P.O.V

"This isn't happening.." I say in sorrow. "No way.."

He stares at me in sadness, "I'm sorry Akaashi..."

I look at him and snap, "it's not your fault!" I look at him. "Let's enjoy everything before it happens alright..?" I hold his hand tightly. "Together." I smile and kiss his forehead. First my hearing and now..

( OH IS THAT A NEW STORY I SMELL? jk it's more angst. Muahahaha "ψ(｀∇')ψ Bokuto suddenly hears news about his health which cause this tragedy. Chapters are very short but he new shall become present. :D )
