I lay in bed, wide awake . looking at the clock and occasionally the pictures Regina begged me to hang in the wall.
Regina...
I didn't expect to find her . she was everything I needed and everything I've dreamed of. The way she smiles or the look she gives when she's sad or angry . her love . more than I could ask for.
And Henry , I never expected him . he's the sweetest kid in the world . and I remember last year when he asked me if he could call me mom . and suddenly the world stopped .because I know this was my reality but it felt like I was in a dream . I told him he didn't have to. He calls me Emma.
Sometimes life and love and surprises aren't enemies.
