She's gone.

My mother is gone.

I'm sitting here, reading the headstone of her grave, and I can't believe she's actually gone.

I left the rose I brought on her grave and walked to my car. I had to get home and start packing for Magcon. It's been about four months since I was at the last one. I haven't spoken to the guys or Mahogany at all. They all knew that I had just wanted some time and respected that.

But now I know that my mother would want me to be back on tour because that's what made me happy. And that is exactly what she would want for me.

~~On the way to the Airport~~

"Do you have everything you need," my father asked.

"Yes dad," I mumbled. He's asked me that about 100 times now. I know he means well but I'm starting to be really irritated.

I feel kind of bad that I'm leaving my dad and Blake not soon after mom died. But they've reassured me that they'll be fine and if they really need me then they'll call me, but I doubt they will.

I've been contemplating whether I should move back home with them but I liked living with my aunt. As selfish as it sounds I don't want to move back. But I'm not going worry about it right now. I jut want to hang out with my friends and enjoy my next week and a half with them.

"Were here..." My dad said after a while.

He pulled up to the drop off and got out with me. He helped me get my suitcase out and I put on my drawstring bag with my electronics in it.

"Well, I guess this is it." He said teary eyed.

"I love you dad." I said hugging him.

"I love you too." He hugged me back.

"Okay I need to go before I start crying too," I laughed.

"Call me when you get there." He called as I walked away.

"Okay!" I yelled back.

I made my way to the sitting area after dropping off my bags and going through security and what not. After awhile of waiting, I looked at my phone and saw I had about an hour left until my flight starting boarding. So since I was a bit hungry I decided to go get some Starbucks.

"What can I get you?" Said the cashier as I finally made it to the front of the line.

"Can I get a Venti, Mango Black Tea and a butter croissant?"

"Okay, $7.95 please"

"Hey, are you Ashlyn Byers? I watch your covers on youtube!" The cashier asked.

"Yep that's me." I said back.

"I love your cover of 'If I Were A Boy' by Beyonce." He said while getting my change.

"Well thank you.. Justin," I said looking at his name tag, " I really appreciate you watching my videos!"

"Ashlyn!" The barista yelled.

I walked over and got my drink and pastry and waved goodbye to Justin.

"Flight 409 to New York City is now boarding." The lady said over the speaker.

I trudged my way to the back of the boarding line and got out my phone to listen to music. Once I got on the plane I closed my eyes and turned up the music and let the darkness take over.
