Time to pop the question. We got to the place and sat down at our table. He ordered for us, I really didn't care really, I liked everything on it. I'll eat, once it's food, and am not paying. Glad he ordered. He could tell my face was at ease. Something was wrong and indeed something wasn't. I didn't know know how to start it. I don't even know what to say. Like what he think am all in his business, because he didn't tell me anything about it. i might just change some words up and just at like that how it actually happen.

He took my hands and hold them tight. Not too tight, but just right. His hands were warm and soft for a guy with his looks. I couldn't think straight. I have to tell me, but I still don't know how to. I got the courage to say it and it's not really 100% the truth, but he be fine not knowing.

"Well, I didn't know how to say this, but I heard around town your quite dangerous." My face was smiled so hard like did I really just say that. His face just went blank. Nothing came out and he was still holding my hand. "Well, you see I went to go visit my friend at this waxing place and I saw Rebecca and she had a scar. She was bleeding and I had to help her she a really nice girl. I ask her how she got it, and she was like someone push her. I had to ask why and she told me. Not all. I was shock to hear your name and I couldn't believe you would do something like that. She went and told me that it's not "safe" be around you." My voice got low and I could still he didn't like what I was saying. He looked kind of upset, not kind of, he was upset. Happy I didn't mention Danny and Clover part, because gosh know what would had went down.

He finally looked up at me and he really doesn't seem happy. "That's interesting to hear. That's what people think. Did she also tell you the I hit her story? Sure, she did as well. Well the truth is I do have a tamper and I don't like Bullsh-t. So I do sometimes go too far, but I never might to actually put my hands on her. She did that to herself. I never hit her hard or anything. She the one who a drama queen and just drop anytime like I was going to kill her."
"She not really innocent."
"Innocent! Her this must be a joke, she didn't tell you the full story."
"No."

The food came out and we let go each others hands. The steam off the plate was so hot, I couldn't eat until it cool down.

"But that is any day conversation. Let's not ruin this right now and talk about something in the past." "True lets not." I didn't want to, but I really wanted to know the whole story about their relationship. I could tell he was still piss. I Try to like bring up jokes and how was my day yesterday was. With a little lie about the work and not the skipping school part. I got him to smile and that was good. Didn't want him to get mad with me and stuff.

That would not be good and I don't want to be another victim. Rebecca might be right, but she also have to take part in this for him to get so mad. Something isn't right here, but it was nice to have him for dinner.

***************************************************

Soon as we got done eating he paid and we walked out the store.  We kissed good bye and went our ways. Since I drove here, I couldn't leave my car in the city, that would not be a good idea. I could tell you this, he seem like he need some time to think. Like a lot of time. I don't blame him, he really do, I just hope he doesn't go to Rebecca with this.

While walking to my car, I bump into this girl. She was Asian, wearing a dress and heels. She was pretty, little too fancy and pretty for this part of the city, where my car was parked. I said sorry and she smiled at me and told me her name. It was really nice, but I wasn't really paying attention. I just wanted to get home. She ask me if am interesting in doing some work. I ask her what type of work. She told me business, but little card business. Not grumbling, but all you have to do is watch over cards.

I get paid for watching over unique looking cards, is this a real job. She had me a card and told me if I was interested to call her. Well, I needed a job, I really don't, but why not. She was shock to see how fast I reply to the job request. She told me more about it, not only was I watch over cards, but I was watching people in and play cards. It was different, it was more than a grumble, it was like a survival. These people was giving away things that they need in life to live. Like their chances of winning was so rare. The game give them hope, so much hope they lose it all.

I had to admit, it was quite nice and fun to hear about. I had to agree to it and she told me to call her tomorrow and we can talk it over with her and her boss. Before I could say anything, she walked off and I didn't know where she diapered too. That was fast  and no good bye. Still going to my car and finally got there and drove my butt home. I miss my bed so much, I couldn't believe how much I miss it. I was sleepy, which was weird.

I went to my parents room, they were both watching TV, I came in between them and told them about the job. They were puzzled and just didn't understand how this woman came out of nowhere and offer a job. They say they see nothing wrong with it, but if you get it, and something is wrong, get out of  it. I surely would, something about it is just fishy. Let's be real here, you get paid for watching cards and dumb people putting down all and leave with nothing. I got out my parents bed.

I went into mine, got dressed, and I was out.
