"You're fun to be around.." He replies shyly.
Did he just say that? me? fun to be around? a guy? saying it to me?
"Really?"
"Yeah, you're a pretty cool chick" he smirks his time.
"Oh, uh, um thanks" i reply with a smile widening. "You're not too bad to hang around with either"
We sit there in silence after this for a few seconds.
"So what movie do you wanna watch?" Harry speaks up.
"I don't really mind, you can choose one."
Harry gets up off the couch and walks over to the pile of movies. He picks one up and puts it on.
"The notebook?" i ask Harry questioningly.
"What, a guy can't like a chick flick?" he winks.
"Well, they are called 'chick flicks' for a reason!" i say cheekily back at him.
"Let's just watch the movie" he says with a smirk on his face.
He walks back over to the couch and sits next to me. The movie starts and we're silent. By this time i think that we had both forgotten that there was a huge party going on in the other room. This room was good at blocking out noise though.
It came to a part where i started to cry. Harry looked at me and scooted over a little closer putting his arm around my shoulders.
"Awwwh, poor Lucy is crying" He says softly but loud enough for me to hear. He has a cheeky tone to his voice.
"Shh you!"
"It's okay, i cried the first time too, i hate to admit it, but i did.." He looks a little nervous at what my reaction might be.
"Awwh diddums" i say mocking him.
At that moment the door handle rattles.
"Mr Davies?!" Harry and i both say in sync.
"Lucy?" Mr Davies asks looking shocked.
We all stare at each other for a moment before i decide to speak up.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be preparing for tomorrow's class?"
"I already did all that earlier today... One of my friends invited me out to a party.. i didn't know it was a frat party!" He says surprised.
If i forgot to mention, Mr Davies is a fairly young teacher only being in his twenties.
"Oh.."
"Well i think i'm gunna leave now anyway, see you both tomorrow i hope!"
and with that he leaves the room.
