I slowly make my way back to the dorms, only to have my intentions interrupted. I stand there, I'm not sure for how long and at the time I didn't even notice I was staring. He's just standing there, arms crossed and leaning against the library wall.

"Can i help you?" The curly boy replies with a smug look about his face.

Oh my, i was staring at him for too long and he caught me. My cheeks must have at least been tomato by now.

"Oh.. no, no, i was just.." Stuttering the words I managed to get out.

He squints his eyes curiously as if to study my face. His face is unreadable.

"Hey you're that chick from my English class right?" He kicks off the wall and comes a few steps closer. His expression wipes clean and he just smiles.

"Uh, yeah, Mr Davies class?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm Harry, Harry Styles." He holds out his hand waiting for me shake.

"Oh, uh hi, i'm Lucy, Lucy Feathers." i reply shyly. Taking a quick step back after our hands had dropped.

"Lucy feathers.." He wears a satisfied look on his face. "Nice to meet you Lucy, Is it your first day here? I don't think I've seen you around before.." He looks as though he's deeply concentrating on thinking.

"You probably haven't!" I quickly reply. His face snaps out of the trance and his turn intently back on me. "I flew here from Australia.."

His green eyes widen at the mention of Australia.

"From Australia?!" He asks quite shocked. "What made you want to come to London Lucy?" He asks confused.

There's something about the way he says my name in nearly every sentence. My stomach feels like it turning upside down.

"It's always been a dream of mine! i came here for a holiday when i was in 8th grade, I instantly fell in love with the old style it has, and to be honest I'm not too fond on the hot weather.." I chuckle lowly to myself. "And ever since then I decided that I wanted to come here to study!"

"Yes, it's a beautiful place London. I've been here my whole life!"

He peers down at his watch to check the time.

"Well anyway, i have to get to my next class, nice meeting you Lucy, I'll see you around!" He says as he starts heading off to his next class.

"You too.." Is all i manage to say before he disappears into a small crowd of people. Eventually he's gone out of my line of sight.

Did he really just talk to me? A boy? A college boy? On my first day? Wow is all i can think to myself. This hasn't happened to me before. All through high school I was always that weird chick. The one everyone would make fun of. I never really had many friends back then..

I head back on my way to the dorm room.

Images of Harry's bright green his eyes and his soft looking brown curls pop up in my head. He just seemed really nice, like I could actually have a normal conversation with him, and to be honest, that was really rare here.

Not that I'd talked to many guys ever, I mean I had never in my life had a boyfriend, not one, and here I was 18 years of age. Nearly every single girl my age has had a boyfriend before, I guess I was just the odd one out. I was never really like other girls though, I didn't party, I didn't drink and I was always focused on schoolwork. My mother had always taught me that my education was important. I just never felt the need to go out. It was never important to me.

I climb up the stairs until I'm standing out the front of the dorm room.

"Hey Grace!" I greet my room mate while walking through the door.

Grace was my assigned roommate, but that didn't bother me. We shared a few interests but we had a fair few differences as well. She was one of the party animals, she didn't smoke and she never really got drunk off her face, but wherever there was a party, you can almost guarantee that she was there!

"Hey Lucy! How was your first day of college?" she asks. "Feeling all grown up yet?!" She was always so bubbly.

"It was really good actually, i had my first English lesson."

"Who's your professor?" She asks curiously. "Because I had Mr Ryley last semester and it was seriously the worst pain I had ever gone through. He was seriously so morbid all the time! He would read sections and one paragraph I swear would take him at least 10 minutes!" She laughs to herself. I join in.

"Oh my, sounds painful" I joke. "but nah, I have Mr Davies, he seems like a pretty fair teacher!" I reply with a smile upon my face.

"Oh yeah, I've never had him, I've seen him around but I don't really know the guy."

"He caught me out for not paying attention today, it was actually really embarrassing!" I tell her, I can feel a slight tinge of blush creep on my cheeks.

"Staring hey?" she asks winking at me afterwards.

"Shut up Grace!" I bite back playfully at her teasing remark.

"Was it a boy?!" She suddenly asks. He eyes widen, her face lights up and she looks as though she's gunna explode.

"Would I tell you if it was?" I smartly reply back grabbing out a book to read or my class. After a few interrogating questions I've ignored I decide to just

fall back on to my bed, attempting to get a little rest.

I ignore any more questions she asks and after a few minutes she gives up, then, finally, I manage to get a rest.
