Date #1

"Ashton! Wake up! Today we are going to start marking date ideas off our list!" Luke shouted at his sleeping boyfriend, and Ashton grumbled something incoherent but still smiled at Luke.

"Help me up," Ashton said with a pout on his pretty, pink lips and his arms outstretched. Luke rolled his eyes but still picked his boyfriend up like an infant- his arms under his armpits. He brought the boy into his chest and Ashton squealed and wrapped his legs around Luke's waist. "Good morning, lovely."

"Good morning, my little koala," Luke replied and pressed a kiss behind Ashton's ear. He squeezed Ashton in a hug quickly before setting him on the ground.

Luke couldn't help but admire how cute his boy is in the morning. His curls were tousled left and right and his eyes were bright with new energy. He was wearing some long sleeved shirt of Luke's, which was all twisted around his waist and falling off one shoulder, and boxers. He was really beautiful.

"Let us get dressed and then I will tell you which date I have selected for today," Luke said and shooed Ashton into the bathroom to get ready for the day.

After the two were dressed and decent Luke got them both some cereal and grabbed the list they had made a few days before.

He sat next to Ashton at their kitchen island and munched on his cereal. "So, my dear, today I thought we could kind of ease into things. I don't think we should do anything too crazy being that it's the first day. Since it is a Saturday, I thought we could go around to a bunch of the garage sales around town. There's always a bunch of garage sales on Saturdays in the summer. Then I thought we could grab lunch and head home. What do you think?"

"Sounds great, Lukey. I'm excited." Ashton grinned and pressed a kiss to Luke's shoulder. Suddenly Ashton's eyes grew big and he shouted, "Oh! I just remembered something!" He got up off his chair and ran back to the bedroom.

When he returned Luke raised an eyebrow at his shy behavior. He had something held behind his back and he slowly revealed it and set it on the counter.

It was a scrapbook.

"When we first started making the list I got really excited about this whole thing. So I went shopping and bought this. I thought we could take pictures and log all of the dates we go on," Ashton explained shyly, and Luke smiled fondly.

"I love that idea, Ash. God, you're adorable." Luke pulled Ashton between his legs by his hips and gave him a kiss.

"Ready to go?"

The couple brought the newspaper with them so they could check the ads and find out a few addresses of some sales.

They arrived at the first sale and immediately something caught Ashton's eye.

"Luke! Look!" he called and beckoned him over with his hand. Luke raised his eyebrows and joined his boyfriend at the table. Ashton picked up an old looking baby doll and Ashton smiled. "I used to have one just like this."
