Nine years later...
It is a dark night in March. There's a nice cool breeze in the air. The city is still buzzing with cars and people. A seventeen year old boy slowly approaches a house. It's a large blue house with fancy windows and three balconies. The door is a fancy black door with a black metallic knocker that has the shape of a dragon. The boy knocks on the door.
"We don't accept any strangers at this time of day!" A young British sounding girl yells. The boy sighs and yells in a noticeably similar accent.
"It's your brother, you idiot! You forgot to unlock the door again!" He waits a minute and then the door opens with the 16 year old girl standing there. She has sleek black hair that goes down to her shoulders and has grassy green eyes and stands at shoulder level of the boy. She is wearing a white t-shirt and a pair of black sweat pants. She backs away going to the couch in the living room and unpauses the TV.
"I'm so sorry! You know how I get carried away with all my shows, classes and my fan-fiction." Says the girl apologetically. The boy enters the house. He has shiny black hair that goes over his left eye and goes down to his neck and he has crimson red eyes. He is wearing a black trench coat with a school uniform underneath. He hits his sister in the back of the head lightly and speaks to her in an irritated tone.
"Don't think I will accept that excuse with you forgetting because of your fan-fiction Elizabeth..." She looks down and speaks to the boy a little upset.
"You know how I hate that name, David. You should also treat your sister better than that!" She stomps her foot on the ground and thrusts her arms down.
"Well then, Liz, should I just take the key and have control of it so you have to wait outside while I stay after school for my meetings?" David asks mockingly Liz and she answers right away.
"No, no, no you can trust me from now on!" She looks back where her brother was and sees he's gone. She turns her head back and sighs.
"I really wish you weren't this hard on me." She says in a soft, tired voice
David walks upstairs and unlocks his bedroom door and goes inside, locking the door behind him. There were several locks, but he only locked one. There was a large television with a camera in each corner on the ceiling. There was a dresser with a large mirror upon it with several figurines on it and a wooden carving that held up a black orb that glowed softly. His bed has a large blue blanket with two white pillows over top. There was a window and a door to what could be assumed as a closet. He walks over to his bed and flops down.
"I really hate these meetings." He moans out in a tired, annoyed tone. A calm voice that sounded like David, but darker started talking.
"Well we need to keep going to those meetings so then we don't lose any of our allies." David thought for a moment and said while getting under his blanket.
"True... well the good thing is we won't be having any of those meetings for a bit due to the problems going on. Anyways I'm going to retire now. Remember that we are going to go to school as a new student tomorrow." He looks at a corner of his room and glares over there. "And don't show yourself Shadow!"
The room is quiet for a moment and the voice David called Shadow broke the silence. "Yes, my lord." The silence is taken over by the cars constantly going by the house in the night.
