Once again, I was not aware of the situation. For I had thought there was a supernatural army in front of me. I stood, in silence. I swear, you could hear a twig snapping. There was silence. I looked upon the army ahead of me. I thought of a squad of 11 people, made out of fire and ice. Who would protect me if anything went wrong. They appeared.
One had a bow and arrow, made of fire, he had a mask on and was firey. Another was completely made of ice. With an ice spear along with a ice shield. The 11 people formed a ring around me, to protect me. I thought there was only a army behind me, but there was one behind me, and on the left, and on the right. "Oh, god." I heard myself mutter in the silence. I looked around and my heart pounded, Was this my final resting place? Was I going to die here? Is this the end? Have I fought for nothing?
No.
I had answered all my questions. I had an idea. But would it work? I thought to myself. Well, it was my final resort. My last chance at survival. I had to try it. I screamed and felt my energy quickly draining as ice and fire started to assemble. I felt the roof beneath me give way.
I was not falling, I was smarter. I imagined fiery wings that would keep me up. I flew up above the complex and the masterpiece I had created. I watched as the complex crumbled. The walls fell outwards and the ceiling fell in. There was smoke and I realized how the masterpiece would light everything on fire. Later I decided to call it frozen flames.
The fallen complex was rubble, there was smoke and flames everywhere. And yet the army was still calm and waiting for something, it seemed. My 11 minions had survived. My wings flickered. They then went out completely and I plummeted toward the ground. I thought of wings. I thought of anything that could help me. I panicked as the ground came nearer and nearer. It came inches from my face. Headfirst, I slammed into the ground, tasting ash from the fire and some rocks and rubble. I spit out the stuff, I slowly stood up. Pain surged through my body. I looked around me to see if I was hurt. I was, obviously. My face had become all cut up and so had my body. I felt thick blood run down from my scalp. A gash in my head.
It hurt, bad. Blood ran down to my shirt, staining it dark red. I tried to ignore the pain as I stood up and faced my masterpiece. It moved with my thoughts. I imagined the fiery and icy giant kneeling down infront of me. I calmly walked into the beast's chest and it stood back up as I took a seat on a chair that held me down. I was safe from here. Or I so thought. There was nothing protecting me but a low wall in front of me.
I looked in front of me. I felt determined until I saw something I hadn't seen before. There were 5 other giants. They each had people like me in them. They were, earth, water, air, fire, and one was made of the flying people. They formed a circle around the army and me inside of it. These giants were bigger. I estimated the "arena" area was a mile in diameter. They were waiting for the giants. I yelled at my 11 men to get ready. It was the stillness and quietness before a war. It was me, a giant, and 11 fiery and icy men, versus, thousands of supernatural controlled soldiers and 5 giants.
A sudden sound of a battle horn pierced the air. At once, the front of the army kneed in sync, at the same time, and put their shields up as other supernatural jumped over them. They had swords and daggers. They were wearing leather armor and had helmets that looked heavy and made of metal. Then, flying supernatural flew overhead. The swordsmen charged at the giant.
My giant easily swatted away the first wave of flying people (which were later called ravens). The 11 people took care of the swordsmen but had to retreat after the shield people started throwing spears that exploded on contact. Another wave of ravens came and started throwing stones that hit my giant, damaging the arm that I used to block them. Both me and the giant lunged at them, we grabbed them in the giant's hand and crushed them. We dropped them on the ground. Another wave of ravens came quickly.
This wasn't good. My giant could not go on for a long time. My energy was drained and I would not be able to make another one. I stupidly walked into one section of the army. I trampled many people, but, shockingly, they were able to adjust and one of the giants came over and punched the head of my giant. Since the giant was linked to my brain. I felt something smash into my head. I screamed in agonizing pain. While I held my head in my hands and moved around I had kind-of forgotten that whatever I would do, the giant would do, the giant went haywire and the enemy's giant punched my giant's back and sent both me and the giant into the ground. Back into the center.
I hurt, all over. And as I was knocked over, in pain, part of the army ran over to my giant and walked on top of it, banging their weapons against my giant which sent more pain into me. I did not have enough strength to heave myself up. This was the end. I was sure of it.
But then I thought: why had I fought all this way, just to give up? I remembered how eric had saved me. And how he had killed the mossy person. I thought of how Aaron had shot me, and I had lived through that pain. I thought of how I killed him. I thought of my parents. Who were murdered by the people. There was someone behind this all. I was not going to give up. I was going to fight. I was going to kill the one behind this all.
I felt fresh, new, clean energy filling up my body because of determination. Did they think I would give up this easy? Because I was not.
