An Os
--------
A 55 year old lady was standing in the balcony adjoined with her room and was staring at something.

It was a Friday Evening. The sky was covered with gray Don't call me khuda...I am not...I am a simple human being and let me remain that...khuda toh ek light hai...jo rehti aaspaas hai par dikhti nahin hai...Jo karti sab kuch hai par pta nahin lagne deti...Khuda kuch aur hi hai ❤❤❤. Cold breeze was blowing.

"Mumma. Aapki coffee"Lady heard her daughter-in-law calling her.

But she was so busy in staring at something that she didn't not respond to her words and kept staring.

"Mumma. Kya dekh rahe hain aap?"Nandini, her daughter in law asked when she noticed her mother in law staring at something continuously.

"Uh..Main kuch bhi toh nahin"Meghna told her daughter-in-law.

"Mumma. Please. Btaiye. Aap kisi gehri soch mein hain. Aapki aankhein bta rahi hain"Nandini said.

"Maanege nahin naa tu?"Meghna asked her smiling.

"Jab apko pta hai toh chupate kyun ho mujhse"Meghna passed a smile at her and then handed her coffee mug.

The both leaned over the railing, taking sip from the coffee mugs and enjoying the cool breeze playing with their frames.

"Wo saamne tree dikh raha hai?"Meghna asked.

"Konsa?"Nandini asked.

"Vo. Jo ekdum sukha hai. Koi bhi leaf nahin hai jiske upar"Meghna pointed out the tree with her index finger.

"Haanji. Vo kya ?"Nandini asked.

"Tumhe pta hai shadi se pehle ladkiyaan bs ek plant hoti hain"Meghna said.

Nandini looked at Meghna confusingly.

"Haha. Mujhe pta tha tum aisa hi reaction doge. Isilie nahin bta rahi the"Meghna said.

"Nahin smjh mein aaya. Par aap smjha dijiye na ise bhi. Har baar ki tarah"Nandini smiled at her and sipped her coffee.

Meghna smiled back at her. They both were looking at the tree now.

"Shadi se pehle ladki ek plant hi hoti hai beta. Jise kahin bhi dobara lgaya ja skta hai. Jaise shadi se pehle ladki apne ghar mein rehti hai aur shadi ke baad dusre ghar chali jaati hai. kahin aur lga dia jaata hai use ek plant ki tarah.

Tree vo shadi ke baad banti hai. Nayi jagah , naye ghar mein time ke saath grow hoti hai. Aur phir aise bs jaati hai nayi jagah ke chah ke bhi nahin chod sakti. Aur jab chodna chahti hai toh bs vo uska end hota hai"Meghna said in serious voice.

"Matlab ?"Nandini asked.

"Ek tree ko kahin aur nahin lagaya ja sakta beta. Jab ek tree apni jagah chodta hai. Tab vo uska end hota hai. Uski koi life nahin rehti uske baad."Meghna said.

"Aur main isilie dekh rahi the us tree ko kyunki dekh meri life uske jaisi hi hai"Meghna said further.

"Vo kaise ?"Nandini asked her writer Mother in law.

Meghna being a writer, always speaks in metaphors and it was difficult to understand these metaphors for Nandini who was an Engineer by profession.

" Jab Abhay ke Papa mujhe is ghar mein leke aaye the, mujh ek plant ko unhone mere ghar se yahan lgaya tha. When I was growing in this relation,he nurtured me with his love which works as water for a plant.

With passing time, when I grew up completely and became a tree with my roots buried deep down here at this place, he stopped nurturing me with his love. As time passes people start thinking that trees don't need water, that they are capable enough of nurturing themselves with the things they need but aisa nahin hota hai.

Jaise tree ko moisture and water chaahie waise hi sabko pyar chahie. Har umar mein. Par tumhare Papa ke paas time kahan. Ab toh jo ek do phone karte the London se week mein, vo bhi monthly hogye hain"Meghna said.

Her voice was dipped in seriousness and her voice was on the verge of cracking.

Nandini who was listening to her silently all this while placed an understanding hand on her shoulder. Now she knew where all this was heading.

"Aur ye jo branches hain ye Abhay hai. Humare toot te rishte ka sab kuch ise bhugtana padha hai Nandini. Isilie ye shadi nahin karna chahta tha.

His father stopped nurturing me with love and consequences were visible in Abhay. He dried down like these branches. Ghar ki fights, uske Papa ka der raat ghar aana aur phir saara business London mein re establish karke wahan chale jaana. Kisi ne kabhi kuch directly nahin kaha but sab jaante hain ke Ashok humare saath nahin rehna chahte"Meghna said.

"Toh aapne unko divorce kyun nahin diya abhi tak?"Nandini asked.

"Unhe divorce deke agar main is ghar se gayi toh saath Abhay ki zindagi hil jaayege. Ek jhoothi notion mein hi sahi, ek family toh hain hum. Maine apni roots chodi toh mere saath saath Abhay bhi jaayege door. Main ye nahin chahti.

Jaise ye tree kahin nahin jaa sakta, waise main bhi kahin nahin jaa sakti. Ye hi meri LIMITS AND BOUNDS hain Nandini. Yahi life hain.

You can do whatever you want in life but it takes a lifetime and a mature person to understand what he or she should do.

Not everything you want to do in life is right and not everything you don't want to do in life is wrong. But sometimes you have to think in accordance with the situations beta.

This is called life. Haina?"Meghna looked at her and then caressed her hair.

Nandini was dumbfounded. Her words died down in her throat. She didn't know what to say. She looked at her mother in law who was passing a beautiful smile at her.

This lady in front of her was an inspiration. After loosing her mother years ago, Nandini found every thing in her.

"Ab chalein. Abhay ke aane ka time ho raha hai. Aaj uski favorite sabji bnayenge. Palak Paneer"Meghna said.

Nandini blinked her eyes at her and found her lost words.

"You are inspiration Mumma. Thank you"Nandini said and hugged her.

"Arey ! Inspiration ka toh pta nahin pae agar tum keh rahi ho toh theek hai. Phir isi khushi mein aaj Gajar ka halwa."Meghna winked at her.

"No mumma. Apko sugar hai. No gajar ka halwa. Aap bahane mat banaiye"Nandini said.

"Acha theek hai. Abhi chalo. Kaam shuru karein"Meghna said and then they both went inside into the kitchen to do preparations for Palak paneer.

MEGHNA LOST HER ONLY SOURCE OF LOVE BUT THEY SAY GOD HAS HIS OWN WAYS TO WORK. GOD BLESSED HER WITH NANDINI.

NANDINI, WHO WILL NURTURE HER WITH HER CARE AND LOVE AND IT ULTIMATELY WILL NURTURE ABHAY.

LIFE IS SO SIMPLE. BUT IT IS COMPLICATED AS WELL. YOU NEED NOT TO UNDERSTAND IT. YOU NEED TO LIVE IT. WITH A HEART ❤
