The Willow

Chapter 4

Kimiko slammed the cafeteria doors open so they reverbed off of the wall with a bang. Emilia immediately blushed at all the unwanted attention while Kimiko seemed not to notice, I was glaring at anyone who happened to glance at us making them look away instantly. Kimiko lead me to a table centered at the middle of the room, I could already tell that this was the popular table. The guys were all looking happily at the girls on their arms and in their embrace while the girls blushed and giggled like the school girls they were. That all stopped when we got there, the guys who didn't have a girl looked at Emilia and Kimiko with lit up faces, except for one. The guy I bumped into in the hallway was there and looked at us as we approached, as soon as his gaze was on me he got an unexpected glow in his eyes before he blanked them. I bit back a blush and kept my face neutral but friendly.

"OK guys this is..um...shoot! I forgot your name sorry, but don't take it personally I can barely remember my own name sometimes." Kimiko said apologetically.

I smiled at her and couldn't help but not be mad, she was too adorable to be upset with.

"Hadley, like the motorcycle company but with a 'd' instead of an 'r', and your lucky you're adorable or I would be so offended right now."

She giggled and said " Sit down next to Moses over there." she pointed to hallway guy, who I now knew as Moses.

I frowned then said " We forgot something important, food."

She slapped a hand on her forehead and jumped up, she turned around when she realized I wasn't following her, "Are you coming?"

I was about to answer when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, I turned around in surprise to find the girl from the hallway earlier and her barbie girl clones.

"Hi! My name is, well, I'm sure you already know my name by now, and I would formally like to invite you to our table for lunch." she finished with the most squeaky voice I'd ever heard.

I didn't even think about it before I said, "No thanks." and went over to Kimiko while she stood there gaping like a fish.

Kimiko was smiling so wide I was sure it hurt "Hey bitch!" I heard from behind me. I turned around with a sigh and looked at her expectantly " Yes?" I asked my voice slightly annoyed.

She stomped over here and raised her hand slapping me dead in the face. I heard quite a few murderous growls.

I, on the other hand, was still standing with my head to the side, I felt it, the rage I'd been trying to cover up for so long was finally out in the open. Such a shame that she will be the one to face my wrath.

I took a heavy step forwards and slammed my fist to her jaw hearing a sicking crack resonate throughout the now silent cafeteria. I gave her a look that would've made the Devil himself pee his pants.

"If you want to live a full life, I suggest that you never touch me again." My voice was like razors as it cut through the silence. I turned around and left the cafeteria, but not before seeing the looks of pride and protection on Moses and his friends faces.

This has been one hell of a long day
