Chapter 8: Overlake

May 26th

Max's POV

"I can't believe it happened. They didn't deserve it," Patrick says as we stand by their headstone. "Yeah but we stopped him, once and for all!" I say, hugging Patrick. "You were a great friend! And best wishes to you!" Adam says, placing a flower on the headstone. Alesa puts her head down on Adam's shoulder as she begins to cry. "Thank you. If it weren't for you, he would still be around," Patrick says. Mithzan and Ross hold each other. "Yous was a greats dirts," Barney said. I walk away, not being able to take it all in. Patrick follows behind me as I walk on the gravel path, down the hill to a nearby lake. I stand, looking at myself in the calm lake. "Max. I know it's hard to lose her but she stopped Ander and didn't die in vain! She is in a better place," Patrick says. I feel tears fall off my cheek as I turn around to face. Past Patrick's shoulder I could see everyone else. "Yeah I know, but she didn't deserve to die! No one should of gotten into our mess. I just can't believe it happened," I say, looking down at my shoes, avoiding Patrick's face. "You're right. She didn't deserve to die," Patrick says as he pulls me into a hug. "I just don't believe it is over. I mean is he dead?" I asked, looking up at Patrick's tear stained face. "Yes! He is and we don't have to live in fear anymore," Patrick whispers into my ear. I look up at Patrick. "We've both faced death and I don't want to face it anymore!" I say. "I won't leave you, EVER!" Patrick says, kissing me.

9 Day's Ago (May 17th)

Patrick's POV

"I can't believe this is happening!" Jess says, walking around back and forth in the emergency room. "I thought there was something suspicious about Randolph," Mithzan says. Ross grabs his hand and looks at him. "I just can't believe he died," I said quietly, in disbelief. "But he came back to life!" Jess says, sitting next to me and pulling me in for a hug. "This is just crazy," Adam says. "Patrick?" a male voice says. I look up to see a doctor. "Yes?" I ask, getting up. "We were able to stop Max's bleeding. Max is currently awake and is current with what is happening. So if you follow me, I'll show you to his room," the doctor says. We follow the doctor until he stopped outside of a room. The doctor opened the door and walked away as we walk in. I see Max lying on a hospital bed with an IV hooked up to him. "M-Max?" I stutter. Max turns his head and smiles. His face was pale and weak. I walk over to Max and kiss him. "D-Did you k-k-kill And-d-er?" Max asks weakly. I sit  down on a chair and turn to Max. "I got the gun from him and shot him multiple times. I went to you and the next minute he was gone, but left a bullet proof vest and a note saying 'Nice Try'", I say, grabbing Max's hand. "So he is still out there!?" Max screams out, using his energy. "I am going to stay here until you get out!" I say. "So am I," Mithzan says. "But babe," Ross says. "Look. I need to stay and look out for my brother and to be honest am I really safe with Randolph running around? He is after me!" Mithzan says, grabbing Ross' hand. "I'll miss you," Ross says. "I'll miss you too but remember I'll always love you," Mithzan says, putting his hand on Ross' face. "I love you too," Ross says, leaning in and kissing Mithzan. "I got to get back to the offices. Can I get your car Mithzan?" Adam asks. Mithzan puts his hand down in his pocket and pulls out car key's, handing them to Adam. "Thank's!" Adam says. "Go with Jess and Adam," Mithzan says. Ross walks towards Adam and Jess. "Well I hope you get well man! I'll be here to pick you guys up when Max is discharged," Adam says. "Okay," I say. Adam, Jess, and Ross left, leaving me, Mithzan, and Max alone. 

May 21st

Max's POV

"Hey guys Adam here and before we get this video started, I tweeted out that their was a problem at the office and I'm here to tell you all about it! So before we speak I have 2 special guest stars, so let's bring them out," Adam says, sitting on the couch. "iTurtle and Sebthan_" Adam says. Me and Patrick walk over and sit on the couch. "So there has been drama going on the offices and I think we are here to confirm some things," Adam says, looking at the camera and us. "Yes," Patrick agrees. "Well hey guys. If you don't know who I am, I work at Patrick's office in Colorado. I have been working there for almost 8 months and it's an honor to work there but me and Patrick have some confessing to do. So confession 1 is that," I say, looking at Patrick. "Me and iTurtle aka Patrick are dating and have been for almost 2 months!" I say, grabbing Patrick's hand and smiling at him. "We also learned that Max had a twin! So Mithzan come on up," Patrick says. Corey, the male filming pulled back to get more angle as Mithzan got into the picture. I get up and stand by Mithzan. "Yup, we learned this a few days ago, when they got here!" Mithzan says. "So that we have that out of the way, let's get to the big deal," Adam says as me and Mithzan sat down. Patrick looks up to the camera with a serious face. "The people that know me, may know that Ander was a friend. He ended up turning out to be the brother of Mithzan and Max. I posted a video on my channel saying that I was going to go for a while and it's time to be honest. I was close to committing suicide but Ander attacked me in the hospital and almost killed me but a week or two later, he successfully killed Holly. He then came here to this office and was going to go after Mithzan. He is obsessed with him and was obsessed with Max but found out it wasn't the Max he fooled around with when he was younger, but he ended up shooting Max and we just got out of the hospital today!" Patrick says. "Yeah so that is what happened and I know that Mithzan has something to say," Adam says. "Yeah. So I have been keeping a secret from you guys for 5 years. So Ross can you come over here?" Mithzan says. Ross gets into the camera angle. "Yes?" Ross asks curiously. "Me and Ross have been dating for 5 years," Mithzan says kissing Ross on camera. He stops and puts his hand in his pockets. "But I think I want to change that," Mithzan says, getting on his knee and pulling a small container out of his pocket. "Will you, Ross Washington, marry me?" Mithzan says, opening the container, showing a ring. Ross puts his hand over his mouth as he shakes his head 'yes'. Mithzan puts the ring on him and kisses him. "Well this was a dramatic episode," Adam giggles, "but if you guys liked this video, leave a like and also leave positive comments down below but til then I'll see y'all later!" Adam says as we all wave goodbye. " Awesome!" Corey says, walking away with the camera. Adam goes to get up and leave but his phone goes off. Adam pulls his phone out his pocket and looks at his phone, only to drop it. "It's Randolph," Adam whispers. "Answer it!" Patrick shouted. Adam picks up his phone and answers the call. "Put it on speaker!" Patrick whispers. "Hello Adam, Max, Patrick, Jess, Mithzan, and Ross!" Ander says. "What do you want!" Patrick says, walking over to Adam. "You know what I want! But that's not what I'm here for," Ander says. "Can you try and find the location of the call?" I ask Mithzan. "I may but I need time!" Mithzan says. "I have rigged the office with a bomb and it will go off within the hour! You can either try and find it and stop it or leave, like the cowards you are!" Ander says, laughing. Mithzan walks to his computer with Adam's phone as we all make our way. "Patrick and Ross, come with me. We need to find this bomb!" Adam shouts. They run off as Mithzan continues to try and find the location of the call. Jess and I stand impatiently waiting. Mithzan pulls up the location of the call. "This is impossible!" Mithzan says. "What?" I ask. "The call is here at the office!" Mithzan says. The phone call ends as we hear laughter behind us. "You're right! The location of the call is here!" Ander says. We turn around to see Ander pointing the gun at my head. "Damn! You survived! But not much longer!" Ander says, putting his finger on the trigger. "Why are you torturing us!?" I scream out. "Because I'm a crazy motherfucker who can NEVER die!" Ander shouts. "Please don't do this! You can get help!" I scream out. "No I can't!" Ander screams, shooting the gun. I see my life flash through my eyes. "No!" Jess shouts, jumping in front of me, taking the bullet. "NO!" I scream out loud as I feel tears trickling down my face. I look at her to see the bullet in her head. "That's a shame. She died in vain!" Ander says, pointing the gun at me again. I see Patrick come up behind me. "Goodbye brother!" Ander says, laughing. "No! I am not dying today but you sure are!" I scream as Patrick jumps onto him. The gun falls out of his hand. I run to the gun and grab it. I point the gun at Ander's head and begin to laugh. "Look's like you failed! After you torture us so much, we get used to your game and we out played you!" I scream out. Patrick grabs the gun and walks towards Ander . He puts the gun up to his head. "Any words to say before I kill you?" Patrick says. "I'll see you in hell!" Ander shouts out as Patrick pulls the trigger and Ander's body quickly collapses to the floor. I begin to smile as I walk up to Patrick and hug him. "We did it!" I whispered into Patrick's ear. We kiss as we watch the aftermath.

May 26th

Max's POV
