I looked up and the room was dimly lit. The atmosphere was sinister and a sharp draft stabbed me with chills. I could hear faint screams echoing through the building. The receptionist looked gaunt and she shot me a poisonous look. I let my head hang down in grief.
I thought about my daughter. She would have been 15 this month. My husband was the one who did it. He was away for work for months at a time. We had grown apart and Sasha, my daughter, and I were used to not having him around.
I was brought back from my thoughts when the guards started to drag me through several hallways and finally we entered a musty room. The air was thick and dirty and hundreds of eyes glared at me behind the big iron bars of their cells. Gradually they started chanting. "Trapped here forever, leaving never. Trapped here forever, leaving never." A wild laughter suddenly erupted from them. I started to cry. "Shut it!" Yelled the guard viciously.
Finally we got to a vacant cell. The guards tightened their grip and threw me with strength onto the stone cold floor. "What happened to the last patient that was kept in this cell?" I asked completely terrified.
One of the guards smirked at me.
"Enjoy your stay." They both started laughing uncontrollably...Suddenly I fell into a weary slumber.
