Sorry about the quality of the photo...
This is the song I used as inspiration. The guy is a fallen angel and his wings are slept turning black. Once they're fully black they'll start to disappear, leaving him as a normal person. He sees the person he loves and hopes they'll save him but they don't.
This kind of represent how I imagine a person with metal illness is going through, in the perspective of an angel. Him falling is his illness acting up and if his wings fully disappear is when he's hit his lowest point. But if the person he loves saves him, it would be him overcoming the illness. The reason this comes to mind with this song is because my mum used to be a metal health nurse and (this sounds extremely weird) metal illness interests me because I want to know what goes on in their head, their thoughts and how they cope.
Sorry, I'm rambling now. Anyway, this is my contest entry. I really enjoyed drawing it.
