Author Note
Now, this might not make sense much, because you really don't know who the characters are, or what's going on, but I thought I would share this. It's a mini story about two of my characters who dwell in Rivendell. You may proceed to read on, but if you wish to find out more about them, just leave a comment asking for a story about who they are. ^.^ Also I actually kind of just wanted to get something up here, and thought this was a nice little story. ^_^

XiuMin ran down the dark hallway as fast as he could. In one hand he held the key, in the other was his sword. He would occasionally turn around to check if they were still chasing him. He turned around, for what was gladly, the last time. The spirits had stopped chasing him. He smiled and let out a sigh of relief, but this was no time to be stopping and celebrating, not yet at least. He picked up speed again and ran out to find Elwen.
"Fuck" muttered Elwen as she ran out of arrows. She looked around and saw there were still more guardians. She quickly put her bow away and pulled out her daggers. She charged at the five remaining guardians and slashed them as she reached them. The were were ten times bigger than her and usually stronger, but they were weak, she just took down three of them. This was a good sign, this was the sign that XiuMin has the key and is not far away.
XiuMin smiled as he saw the light at the end of the tunnel. He quickly put the key on the chain around his neck and continued running.
Elwen smirked as the last Guardian fell to the ground and turned into a pile of golden bashed armour. She look over to the entrance of the ice cave and saw XiuMin running towards her. She smiled but noticed he was trying to tell her something. She couldn't quite understand what he was saying and then, suddenly, she felt a sharp pain. Something sharp had pierced through her stomach. The pain was sudden and was gone as soon as she felt it. She gasped and fell to her knees before the spear had been ripped out of her. It was one last guardian, trying to prove himself probably. XiuMin yelled at the top of his voice as he charged at the last guardian and slashed him. The guardian fell and smashed into pieces.
XiuMin fell to his knees and held Elwen close to him. "Pan?" She look at him with weakness showing in her eyes. "Pandora!?" She smiled faintly then made a noise that didn't sound good and gasped for air. "Elwen! Don't die, Please don't die!" He gently rocked her In his arms. "You can't make me the Maknae and Rochendilwen the only girl!" He smiled warmly at her. "...Tell.. Her, Chen and Elrond... I-I.. Love them.. And Kai that I forgive him.." She smiled weakly. "You can tell them your self!" He chuckled lightly. "Your always lazy!" She laughed lightly before coughing up blood and breathing slower. "X-XiuMin.. I'm afraid I won't be able to.." A tear rolled down XiuMin's cheek. "Rubbish! You will be able to!" He practically yelled, trying to convince himself she wasn't dying, but she was clearly at deaths door. Elwen breathed out one last breath before mumbling "..Daeva.."
XiuMin was confused by what she just said but didn't dwell on it to long as he was to sad to even think straight. "Elwen!" He cried as he held her close and gently rocked, what he thought to be, her lifeless body. Then, he heard it! Gentle short breaths coming from her. He pulled away slightly and smiled at her before whispering. "There is still hope.." He carefully but quickly got up and carried her small body back to Rivendell as fast as he could.
Numerous hours later he arrived back outside Rivendell. He sighed a sigh of relief, he was so tired because of carrying her all that distance, not to mention the fact it was also getting late. He slowly made his way down the path. He froze when he saw her, this was the last person he wanted to bump into right at this moment. He sighed and looked down at Elwen's broken body.
