Chapter 5 : Skipping School with Zac Evans

Chapter 5

My alarm clock rang . I opened my eyes and snoozed it. I still feel sleepy I only had 3 hours of sleep . I feel something heavy around my waist. I touched the heavy thing wrapped around my waist.. Its an arm! oh my god. I turned my back to face Zac sleeping like a baby. He looked so adorable with that plump pink lips and long lashes. he's arm wrapped around my waist got  tighter and I was pulled so close to him. Our faces were  so close to each other and I can feel his warm breath fanning my face sending goosebumps throughout my body.

He opened his eyes and laughed

" you should have seen your face" he said laughing.

I slapped his arm

" stop fooling around! we might be late for school" I said

" nahh I don't feel like going today. " he said

" fine then I'll go" I went inside the bathroom took a bath , brushed my teeth and changed into my clothes in there. I can't go out naked infront of Zac .  I got out of the bathroom and I saw Zac still sleeping on my bed. I went down to the kitchen to grab some food and I saw a note from my mom.

Sam,

  Need to borrow your car for work because my car broke . I hope you understand I'll get it fixed as soon as I can. Zac will drive you to school for a week. I already asked his mom about it and said its okay with him.

How am I supposed to go to school when Zac won't even go. I ran up the stairs to my room.

"Zac wake up. you have to take me to school" I pokes his arm to wake him up. He opened his eyes and yawned.

" No can do Sammy Cakes I'm tired. you can walk to school if you want and I'll pick you up after" he said

" but school is a 2 hour walk how am I supposed to get there on time when I only got 20 minutes left" I said

" then don't go to school then" he said.

I  took my phone out and dialed my best friends number.

Janes already in school  she can't pick me up because she's busy with the school meeting.

Same with Alex who's still practicing with his team.

Candice can't take me either because she doesn't have a car today and her mom just dropped her of school. Could this day get any worse?! I give up. I guess I'm skipping school today. I went upstairs to my room and sat down on my bed where Zac was sleeping.

" I guess I'm skipping school today" I said . He opened his eyes and got out of my bed.

"Really?" he smirked

"yeah?" I shrugged

" Be ready in 5 mins. were going somewhere." he said

before I could say something. He climed out of window and back to his house. what is he up to now?

After 5 minutes a car honked outside of my house. I went down stairs, locked the front door before going outside the house, and climbed inside Zac's car.

"Where are we going?" I asked

" Going to grab some awesome breakfast" he said

We arrived at this old diner where an old lady opened the door for us.

" well hello Zac. Nice to see you again" the old lady said. Zac kissed her on the cheek and said

" its nice to see you again mrs. carter" he smiled.

" is this your girlfriend? she's lovely" The woman smiled at me.

" she's a friend of mine" he said

" Its your first time bringing a girl with you here but I must say the two of you make a cute couple. now what can I get you?" she asked

" two servings of pancake with beacon, eggs, and mapple syrup and for the drinks two hot chocolates please" he said. Mrs. Carter nodded and left to get our order.

" how did you know her when your from brazil? " I asked

" I started coming here like a week ago with my friends. I come here everyday and don't worry the foods on me" he said

After eating breakfast Zac and I went to the beach .

" what are we doing here?" I asked

" Have a little fun" He said  with a wink and he splashed water on my face and ran

" oh no you didn't" I said  and with that let the games begin. we chased after each other and splashing water at eaxh others faces until we got tired and hungry so we decided to get some take out at Mcdonalds. Our shirts were wet but its a good thing Zac brought some clthes with him . He gave me a hoodie Jacket and he changed into his shirt.

After finishing all our take out. Zac decided to go skate boarding at the park and he wanted to teach me.

"Zac I'm scared " I said while he grabed my hands and pulled me to move the skateboard.

" stop acting like a baby and trust your master" he said.Zac tripped and felll on the floor with me. I landed on his chest. I looked at him our faces just  inches away from  each other.  I blushed on our situation and got up.

" That was fun . We better get  going  cause its getting late" he said. I nodded.

we arrived  home. I got  out of his car .

"Hey Sam" he said before closing his car door.

"yeah?" I said

" Thanks" he said. I smiled  and closed  the door  of his  car.

I went  inside  my house , went upstairs  to  my room and jumped  on my bed. Skipping  school  with  Zac  was  the badest  and most  awesome  thing I've done  in my  whole  life.
