Chapter 6 My first detention

Chapter 6

I heard a loud  honk of a car outside my house. I went downstairs and opened the door to see Zac. He looked at me and tapped his watch .

" 15 minutes or I'm leaving" he said. I run upstairs to my room as fast as I could then to the bathroom , took a shower really quick, brush my teeth and changed into my clothes. I ran down stairs, locked the front door before going out . I climbed  into Zac's car panting.

" just in time" he said

" but were still late though" he added he drove as fast he could until we faced traffic .

" I can't be late for school Zac do something or find a shortcut" I said. he nodded and he drove to another way to school its a bit far from school but atleast there's no traffic.

We arrived in school and were 15 minutes late.

" Zac we might get detention if the principal sees us."I said

"Just follow the expert babe" he winked and I followed him to his "famous shortcut "whenever he's late so he can't get detention.

we were almost to our classrooms until...

" Mr. Evan and Ms. Collins where are your hall passes" the principal said.

I turned around and gave him a smile while Zac smirked. Thr principal tore two peices of paper and gave one to me and Zac.

" Detention both of you after class"

he said then he left leaving me with my jaw dropped and Zac with an amused expression.

Zac and I went back to our classes not saying a word at each other I'm pissed at him right now for ruining my good record. Lunch time came and I told my best friends the story why I was late and why I got detention. I didn't see Zac anywhere. I wonder what he's doing right now.

The bell rang signaling classes were over. I went to the detention placing the peice of paper to Mr. Hogwats table because he drools while he sleeps. Disgusting.

I sat at the back waiting for Zac until he came in. He looked at Mr. Hogwats and placed the paper under his mouth where saliva was drooled. Zac smiled and  sat next to me.

" Hey" He said with a smile.

I didn't look at him because  I was still pissed at him.

" I'm sorry I gave you a detention" he said. Did he just say sorry?. I looked at him and smiled. " Its okay"

" Now let's make your first detention fun shall we" he said.

He threw a piece of crumpled paper on Mr. Hogwats and every time he wakes up Zac and I will pretend were sleeping. We also drew a pic of Mr. Hogwats drooling and made funny stories about him that aren't even true. After detention Zac took me home.

" hey" he said before closing his car door.

" yeah?" I asked

" Thanks" he said " and wake up early tomorrow we don't want having another detention with Mr. Hogwats do we? " he scrunched up his nose in disgust and laughed. I smiled and closed his car door. I opened the front door to see my mom sitting on the couch reading a book.

" Hey mom" I said

" Hey hun, so how's you and Zac" she asked teasingly .

" umm were just friends mom " I said.

"okay then if you say so" she smiled winking at me.

I went upstairs to my room and layed on my bed. I can't like Zac I'm out of he's league. I pushed those thoughts aside. I closed my eyes and shook my head maybe I'm just confused but thinking about my first detention earlier was fun and I'm wondering when will the next one be.... as long as its with Zac Evans.
