Chapter 1: Meeting our new neighbors

Chapter 1

I was walking down the street when I heard foot steps following me. I turned my back to see a guy pointing a gun at me. I was scared . I begged and cried at the guy to not shoot me.

"Sam" a tall dark figure came running towards me and hugged me. I hugged him back really tight but I don't know who he is or what he looked like but the feeling of his arms around me just makes me feel safe.

" Shhh sam don't cry I'm here. I won't let anyone hurt u" he said.  

Before I could say anything, I heard a loud bang. The weight of the tall black figure who was hugging me got heavier and blood... it was everywhere.

I woke up panting .Thank God it was all just a dream. I heared a knock at my door " Sammy sweetie, get up or you'll be late for school" my mom said.

"I'm Up!" I got up from my bed feeling all lazy to go to school.  

Why dont I just make an excuse to my mom that I'm not feeling well but I can't just ruin my perfect attendance record.

I groaned as I walked inside the bathroom, took a shower, brushed my teeth, and changed into my clothes. I was wearing black skinny jeans, a cute pink shirt, doll shoes, a beanie and for my make up I just curled my lashes, applied some maskara, and some lip gloss.

I looked at myself in the mirror feeling all contented of what I was wearing , I grab my bag and went down stairs to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. Mom was there in the kitchen cooking some bacon and eggs. Yuuum!

After breakfast, I kissed my mom and said goodbye. " Have a good day in school sweetie" she said.  

"I will mom" I smiled at her.

I went outside the house, hopped into my car and drove my way to school. I saw a father playing on the swing with his daughter. It kinda remind me of my dad. It has been 5 years since he died. My father was a brave man. He was the General in the army. He died fighting for his country.  

I finally arrived in school. Thank God I still have 10 minutes left before the bell rings. I saw my three best friends. Jane was the president of the whole student body, Alex was the captain of the football team , and candice is a member of our school's dance team. I was not popular compared to them I was just an average girl here in Lake view high but I'm lucky to have true friends like them. When they saw me they greeted me with a big hug.

The bell rang and the four of us walked together to Math class.

After school, I went to the store to buy some Ice cream and went home. I lied on the sofa watching some chick flick movie while eating the tub of ice cream I just bought.  

TGIF - Thank God its Friday.

The front door was suddenly opened revealing my mom squealing and grinning from ear to ear with a woman the same age as her and  

oh my god .. am I dreaming standing their beside my mom and her friend was the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen . He has soft brown messy hair the kind of hair all the guys would pay to have, his eyes were hazel they are deep, and mysterious but at the same time warm and beautiful, his lips were pink and looked soft, he was wearing a white V neck shirt that is hugging his body perfectly showing his toned muscles , black skinny jeans , toms,a gray beanie, and his black leather jacket was hung on his shoulder. A look which shouted dangerously sexy.

" Sam sweetie come here. I'd like you to meet somebody" mom said. I stood up from the couch, walking my way towards them, not taking my eyes off the boy. The guy locked eyes with mine. He's eyes were staring deep into my soul that sent shivers down my spine.
