I'm in the kitchen with Stefan and Damon and my sister is telling us what Elijah told her. I'm sitting on the counter, as usual, with half my hair in two buns and the rest curled. I decided to wear my glasses today as I flipped through a book.

"It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin," Lena said.

"As in the original witch?" Stefan questioned. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, dumbass." I blurted. He glared at me and I smiled.

"What? How is she even alive? I thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out a thousand years ago." Damon rambled confused.

"We don't know. We're guessing she had a couple connections in the witching community. Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family, including Klaus." I elaborated turning a page in my book.

"She was suppose to be the weapon that can kill Klaus." Stefan deadpanned.

"Well, not any more. At least not according to Elijah." Len countered.

"That coffin was the only thing stopping Klaus from tearing us to shreds." Stefan exclaimed.

"Anyone else feeling used right now?" My ex baffled. I caught my book with one hand and raised the other.

"But this is everyday for me, no big deal." I replied shrugging.

"Look, Elijah promised us he wouldn't hurt any of us. I believe him." Lena mentioned.

"I do too." I agreed. Someone knocks on the door and I hop up to get it. I answer the door but no one's out there. I look below my feet and I see an envelope with my name on it. There is another one for Elena.

"What is it?" The blue eyed Salvatore asked.

"It's an invitation." We say in unison.

"Please join the Mikaelson family this evening at seven o'clock for dancing, cocktails, and celebration." I read, knitting my eyebrows, then groaning.

"I am SO sick of going out, fuck!" I hissed.

"Who the hell are the Mikaelson's?" Stefan asked.

"The original family." Lena and I responded.

"It's not bad enough they're moving into town. Now they want a housewarming gift?" Damon commented.

Lena turned her invitation and it was a note from Esther.

"Wait. There's a note on the back. 'Elena I think it's time that we meet. Esther'." Lena reads. We all walked to the living room.

"If Esther wants to talk to me, maybe I should find out why?" Lena pondered.

"Well, that's a dumb idea. She already tried to kill you, once." Damon mentioned.

"No, Elena's right. Bonnie and Arielle were led to open that coffin for a reason. I think there's more to this than just some family reunion." Stefan interjected.

"Can we go back to the old Stefan who cared if Elena lived or died?" Damon inquired. I scoffed.

"Why? That's your job now." I answered. I seen Stefan smile lightly.

"Stefan has a point, Damon. I should find out what she wants." Lena agreed.

"You can't protect yourself." He defends.

"Ok, fine. I'll go." Stefan chirped.

"You pissed off enough originals to last a lifetime. I'll go." Damon rendered. He took the invite from Len's hands and looked at her.
