Dylan had awoken early in the morning. Just enough time for him to shower, eat, and get ready. Of course, Dylan had to wake Zach up first before he could do anything. It had taken him almost ten minutes to drag Zach's ass out of the bed. It probably would have taken him even longer than that if he hadn't threatened to shave off Zach's "beautiful" hair.
After that, however, Dylan got ready. He dressed himself in a navy blue and white checkered flannel with jeans and combat boots, his normal attire, in other words. Zach dressed up pretty much the same except he wore a red flannel.
Then after that, he stuffed some cereal into him and hurried onto the yellow bus with Zach. To Dylan's surprise, the bus wasn't too crowded. But according to Zach, not many people lived in this specific area.

The bus soon arrived at the school and they all got off. The school was pretty big. It had three floors which just meant getting lost a bunch for Dylan. Maybe that's how he could make a friend.
But luckily for him, he had first period Cooking with Zach. Also, the room wasn't too hard to find. Especially since it was on the first floor.

The two brothers entered the classroom and sat at a table together. Dylan glanced around at all the kids, shifting awkwardly as he watched most of them have little "reunions".

"Whoaaa!" Zach exclaimed softly.

Dylan rose a brow. "What?"

"Cute girl 101!"

Dylan rolled his eyes. Of course Zach already found a girl he could flirt with.

"Mind if I..." Zach trailed off, looking at him. His eyes practically begged for him to give him the "OK".

Dylan sighed. "Go ahead."

Zach grinned and instantly took off.

Well...this is great...I'm alone...have no one to talk to...Least the view of the cooking supplies is nice. Oh, and that little chalkbo--

"Hi!" Exclaimed a cheerful female voice.

Dylan blinked, looking up at the girl. She smiled.
The girl was quite cute. She had long dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and smooth, creamy skin. She wore a red ribbon in her hair and a checkered blue dress with black slip-ons.
"Uh...hi..." Dylan spoke, slowly. He didn't talk to too many girls.

"I'm Stephanie. And you?" She extended her hand out towards him.

"Dylan Collins." He responded softly, taking her hand into his to briefly shake it.

As they released hands, Stephanie asked, "Are you new here?"

"Oh, ah, yeah. I actually just moved here a week ago with my brother." He motioned over to Zach, who was flirting with some girl that was clearly uninterested.

"Well, welcome to Illinois, then! Have you made any friends yet?"

Dylan shook his head. "Nah...we've been too busy unpacking and we don't have that many people living around our house." He explained.

"That sucks." She frowned slightly. "But I feel proud to be your first friend." She spoke happily, her frown instantly turning into a smile.

This girl is pretty perky, but it's sweet, thought Dylan, better than being a jerk, anyway.

Dylan smiled at her and blinked as he saw a boy come through the doorway. For some reason, he caught his attention.
His hair was neatly combed and he had such an Angel-like face. His skin seemed to glow from the light that came in through the windows.
He wore a black leather jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and denim jeans with dress shoes.

"Who's that?" Dylan asked his new friend, keeping his gaze on the alluring boy.

Stephanie looked over at the boy he was talking about. "Oh, that's Milo Jacobs. He's one of the hottest guys here. He hangs out with some other kids a lot of the time. It's almost like their siblings since they're usually together ninety-nine percent of the time." She informed.
