Chapter Three : Sky

"Who do you think it is" I said still baffled. I must have read the note 10 times, because I was so shocked.

"Well is there anyone you know that has interest in you" Sunshine asks.

"Well.... No I don't think... could it ?" I hesitate questioning my guess.

"No go ahead say who you think it is, girl maybe you're right." Sunshine reassured.

"Well.. Umm.. I saw.. um Ni ... Nick staring at... me in class today" I said uneasy and unsure.

"Don't be nervous honey, you should be ecstatic!" Sunshine said with her smooth soft voice.

"I know, I am it's just that I never had a real relationship with a boy, you know ... more than friends." I whisper.

"Okay, let's just go ask Nick." Sunshine suggested.

We started walking to Nick's locker. My heart began to beat heavily. My conscious is screaming at me to turn back. We are so close and Nick is about to turn around, when all of a sudden this girl named Lin pops right in front of us. "Umm hi Lin" I said shocked

'Hi Lin." Sunshine mumbled.

"Hi guys." Lin squealed, as she twisted her bleached blonde hair. "Umm well I overheard you guys saying that Nick likes you, but I just want to inform you before you got your hopes up that Nick is in a very serious relationship already" she said enlighten as she popped a big piece of purple gum.

"Okay, who is she" Sunshine said skeptically as her eyes squinted at Lin warily.

"Umm... Well...uh..." Lin looked a little baffled and looked like she was trying real hard to think of what to say, I could tell because she was biting her lower lip so hard she looked like if she tried any harder she'd probably bite her lip off. "She doesn't go to this school" Lin said slyly.

"Oh, okay well I have to go anyway because I'm running late for my bus, bye Sunshine, text you later." I said tiredly. As I walked away I looked back and saw Sunshine giving Lin a bad look like she just saw a conniving rat or something, then I saw her mouth the words I'm watching you to Lin. Lin looked really intimidated , like she just wazzed in her pants. I look at Nick longingly, him and his girlfriend must be really happy I thought.
