Chapter Seven : Sky
When the bus pulled up to the school I got off the bus with a smile and whole new attitude after thinking about the whole Nick thing. Yes I know I was upset at first but then I really thought about it and realize I barely even know him ya I caught him staring at me the other day but that could have been an accident right? I look up and see Sunshine across the lot and wave as I pad over to her at the entrance.
“Hey hon you look fashionable as ever.” She greets as she takes a sip of her coffee. I look down to myself at my teal dress short in the front and long in the back and my white denim jacket and smile.
“Thanks Sun I actually feel confident today that love letter sorta gave me a boost” I beam.
“That’s great I’m so glad that your still happy even though it wasn’t Nick” She says uneasy asking me if that’s true. I feel a pinge in my chest but shake it off.
“ Ya of course I’m fine I barely even know him…I don’t care” I lie as I roll my eyes.
“Well that’s great and you do realize if its not Nick then that means someone else is still out there adoring you “ She accounts.
“ Wow” I say taken back and think. “ I never really realized that until now” I say. My heart flutters with hope and heals the pinge in my chest.
“You are so cute Sky when you day dream” Sunshine chuckles and hooks her arm through mine as we walk into school. I smile a teethy smile and push the thought of Nick in the back of my mind.
