Maybe it was the way that he smiled.
Or how his eyes always seemed to sparkle.
Or his way of saying almost every sentence that left his mouth in a sarcastic manner.
Maybe that’s what made him perfect.
It could be the way he treats the world like sugar, its hard and rough sometimes, but when you know you need to, just take a taste of what has to come.
Maybe it was those little marks on the side of his face that completed his childish look.
Or maybe it was how he looked at me, how his pupils enlarge and his smile widens.
How he seems so much happier, like just being in his presence was something to be excited about.
Some days he even tells me I’m beautiful.
He likes to be that guy that wants to hold hands in public to show everyone that we were together. He likes to be the one that gives me tissues when I’m sick, and buys me chocolate ice cream when I’m having bad days.
He doesn’t ask me if I’m on my period.
He doesn’t care.
He’s one of those guys that you see in movies, you know those ones that like to text you in class saying that he misses you, then waits for you outside and you can’t help but not pay attention to the rest of the world because all your doing is staring at the clock, waiting for the moment you can finally be with him again.
He’s perfect.
And maybe that’s what makes being in love with him, so intoxicating.
