To start off, i am creating another character. She will be in the movie series rather than the prime series like the others. Her name will be Maddie. (the names of most of them are based off of me btw. My name's Madison.

Maddie's story will that she was at an orphanage when the Autbots first found her. I haven't decided on everything for her back story, but I'm sure it will come out later. And her guardian will be Ratchet. 'Cause he is one of my favorite characters.

***

Maddie grumbles, flipping off her quilt that covered her restless body. She blinks a few times before managing to swing her legs over and setting her feet on the floor. She has quite a bit of sleeping problems, and lately, they have gotten worse. Although she guessed why, she never told anyone. Not even her guardian, Ratchet, who is the medic for the Autobots.

Her stomach growls at her, as she realizes the dinner she ate earlier. It wasn't much. She was invited to eat with the rest of the soldiers, but she decided to hide away in her room instead, and later she went to find herself something to eat. Which was nothing more than a small apple and slice of cheese.

Maddie is in the mood for something in particular, though. It's a food she has always adored, something she's always eaten, even at the orphanage.

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is what she wants, and Ratchet happens to keep the ingredients for said food for her in his office.

So she saunters off into the hallway, shutting her door behind her before making her way towards Ratchet's office, or med-bay.

It's currently 1 am where they are at, when most people would be sleeping. But cybertronians don't sleep, so no matter what, Maddie always has someone to talk to. Sometimes whether she likes it or not.

She finally stumbles into Ratchet's office, and he turns to her as she walks in.

"Can't sleep?" Ratchet asks, a sense of sympathy in his voice.

Maddie nods, her eyes almost filling with tears from her sorrow.

Ratchet sets down his hand for Maddie to stand on, and she does so, and Ratchet puts her on the tall table beside of his computer.

Right after he does, he flips over his hand and it transforms, revealing a mini fridge. "I thought you might be hungry." He says as he puts the fridge closer to Maddie. And without her having to guess what it is, she takes out a peanut butter and jelly sandwich along with a bottle of water.

At any other time of the day, Maddie is allowed one small sweet drink. Otherwise, because of her insomnia, she can only have water. Although Maddie does get frustrated over that, she lives with it.

"That's still really weird, I hope you know," She says in return, taking a seat on the metal surface of the table.

Ratchet chuckles, turning back around to the computer and finishing off the work he was doing.

"What are you working on?" Maddie says between bites of her sandwich.

"Don't talk with your mouth full." He scolds.

Maddie groans, swallowing the last bit of her sandwich and wiping her hands off on her pajama pants, which Ratchet sees, but just sighs instead of saying anything. She was really tired, and he could tell that. No point in scolding her when she is half asleep.

"Good," Ratchet smiles, and Maddie rolls her eyes. "And I'm working on the mathmatics of a space bridge."

Maddie's eyes widen. "What? Y-Y-you aren't leaving... are you?"

"No, we are not leaving," he shakes his head. "No need to worry, kid. I am only working on this for the possibility of it helping us in the war.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"Will this war ever be over. I mean, you have been fighting for some time... Do you think you guys will ever come to make ends mend.

"Not with Megatron being as evil and-" Maddie cuts him off.

"You aren't any better than him. Don't judge."

Ratchet smiles at the small human, realizing she is right.

Maddie then yawns into her hand, and as she is about to lie down on the table, Ratchet gathers her in his hand. She sits on his shoulder as he walks out of his office and into the hallways, walking towards Maddie's bedroom.

The Autobots and military tried their hardest to give Maddie a room she could be content with. Considering where they all live, and work, it made it hard to accomplish. But Ratchet wouldn't allow Maddie to have a messy, dark and dreary room. She needed something bright, to hopefully, make her happier and keep her from her bad thoughts.

Her room is still a bit on the small side, but it does have a loft bed in the corner with a computer and art desk underneath it. The room was painted a very light pink, and it's decorated with flowers and butterflies all around.

Maddie found it to be a bit childish, but she actually began to love it.

In the corner, there is a shelf for all of her books with a chair beside of it. The floor has a bright purple rug, in hopes to cover the bare metal ground.

As the two reach her room, Ratchet goes to pick up Maddie, but she stops, rubbing her eyes. He then sets her down.

"Goodnight, Ratchet."

"Goodnight, Maddie."

They both said their goodnights, and Maddie went to her bed and was able to sleep. Dreaming of beautiful things as she did so.
