Nikki and Danni

Ratchet and Optimus were on a drive today specifically so Optimus could speak to Ratchet about his attitude towards the children. Everyone knew he didn't particularly like the children, well, he's been very snappish towards them lately.

Just as the lecture was reaching its end point, the two Autobots ran into an energon signal. Deciding to follow it, they turned around, and rolled up into an energon mine.

As if it was planned, a groundbridge opens up to the left of the.

With Decepticons walking out of it, and Megatron leading them.

In an instance, Optimus shifts his his hands into blasters while Ratchet does the same but with blades. And they stand in battle stances, ready for battle.

The battle began, without the autobots the ability to call for help.
Optimus had the upper hand, but Ratchet on the other hand, did not. He had limited abilities, after all. And the fact so many vehicons were fighting him at once.

With a blink of on eye, two small figures run out from behind two of the large, blue crystals, and began to scream at the top of their lungs.

This distracted the warlord long enough, for Optimus to get the upper hand and shoot him in the side. Causing him, and the rest of his troops, to retreat.

The Autobot leader slowly approached the two teenagers that had just saved their life, and kneeled in front of them.

"Thank you for saving our lives, we are in your debt."

However, Ratchet did not feel the same way. He questioned why two females would be wandering around in a cave such as this. Within closer inspection, he noticed the two wore torn clothing, and matted hair.

"Why were the two of you wandering around in this cave in the first place?" Ratchet began.

The two girls looked between one another awkwardly before sighing deeply.

"Um, well you see. We were looking for somewhere to stay." The older one stated, uncomfortably.

Optimus was concerned by this. Did they not have anywhere to stay? Were they lost?

"For what purpose would you stay in a cave such as this?"

"Well, we got lost. And we can't find our way home." The other one came out.

Optimus stood to his full height, and turned to Ratchet with a smile on his face. Maybe this would help him with his attitude towards humans.

I cannot allow a human to be harmed, we can help you travel safely home." He stopped, before remembering he forgot to ask their names. "What are your names? I apologize, I had forgotten to ask earlier."

"I'm Danni!" She gleamed.

While as the other girl shrunk her shoulders and nervously answered. "I..I'm Nikki."

"Danni, Nikki, we will accompany you home. Ratchet, you will take Danni."

Ratchet, I will say, was not too happy with this arrangement.

He grumbled before answering. "But Optimus, I have many duties to accomplish. I don't have time to worry about a human!"

"Ratchet."

He sighed, before transforming and opening his passenger door, allowing Danni to climb in.

Optimus did the same for Nikki, but she, sadly, had a bit of trouble clambering into the semi truck. Considering she was a mere 5'3' it was a challenge. But, her friends constant snickering encouraged her to finally be able to climb in and the both drove off, in search of their homes.

Sure it was a strange way of meeting, but maybe it was for the better?
