Sugar Rush

Nikki and Danni

Danni strolled into the autobot base after riding around with Smokescreen with a candy bar in her hand. "Yo," she said to Ratchet as she walked by while taking another bite of the chocolate. 

Ratchet gasped. "What in the name of the primes are you eating?!"

Danni furrowed her brows, tilting her head to the side. "Uh, chocolate?" She took a seat on the couch, biting into the candy once more.

"Give me that!" The medic reached for it, but Danni pulled it away in an instant, jumping to her feet on the couch. 

"What's wrong with chocolate?"

"Do you realize how bad that is for you?! It's sugar is not healthy, you need to be eating healthy for your growing body." Ratchet shook his head. 

"Whatever you say, Mom." She plopped down onto the chair and finished off the candy. "HA!"

Ratchet growled, turning back to the computer screen, trying to ignore his annoying charge. 

What Ratchet didn't know, though, was that Danni had her pockets FULL of small candy bars and other various sugary items. Every so often, she would check to see if he was watching her, and she would eat one. One by one.

Nikki rolled up two hours later with Optimus. They had went on a mission to an energon mine. They weren't able to find anything, but they did get to spend time together. But by that, they stayed silent the entire time. Optimus thought it was nice, but Nikki was bored out of her mind. 

Nikki jumped out of his cab, and the leader transformed and smiled at Nikki, who faked a smile in return.

The teenager jumped up the stairs only to be tackled in a hug from Danni. "I'm so glad you are back, Nikki!!" She cheered. 

"I was only gone for a few hours..." Nikki pulled away in confusion. 

"I was so lonely!" Danni cried.

Nikki's eyes widened when she saw the many ripped candy wrappers on the couch. She ran to the couch and gathered them in her hand. 

"Did you eat all of these?!" She glanced around the room frantically. "NO! How could you?! You know what happens!"

"I know!" Danni jumped up and down. "Isn't it great?"

"No!"

"What's going on?" Ratchet walked towards them and raised a metal brow. Optimus followed close behind as well.

"Save me!" Nikki called as she leaped off of the railing. 

Optimus caught her in a flash, and his optics widened. "Nicole!"

She climbed up his arm and onto his shoulder, gripping onto the wires on his neck. 

"What happened?" Ratchet asked. 

Danni was then jumping up and down on the couch, tossing the candy wrappers in the air and cheering as they fell down. She jumped down next and ran towards the stairs to slide down it's railing. "Woooo!" 

"She has a sugar rush..." Nikki shook her head. "How could you let her eat so much candy, Ratchet?!" 

"What?! I did no such thing!" He argued.

Suddenly, Ratchet and Optimus were being shot with balls of paint. Danni's paint ball gun to be exact. She chanted as she ran around the room and shooting at the giant aliens. "I will get you Nikki!"

Ratchet tried to grab her, but missed. 

"Catch me if you can~" She leaped over Ratchet's servo. 

Danni hid behind a metal pole, and from behind there she aimed her weapon and shot directly at Nikki, hitting her in the shower. 

Nikki gasped in shock, wiping at the blue paint now on her shirt. "Hey, that was my favorite shirt!"

"Not anymore~"

1 hour later...

Ratchet and Optimus, with Nikki on his shoulder, cautiously walked around the base in search of Danni. They couldn't find her anywhere! And she already got them with a few pranks...

Ratchet was covered in toilet paper, which he had a hard time getting off, and Optimus was covered from head to toe in pink paint. She also got them with the floors covered in oil.

"This is getting ridiculous." Nikki mumbled, crossing her arms with a huff.

"I agree." Optimus said.

With that, they were pummeled with rocks and paint balls. Optimus quickly covered Nikki from the rocks, and they thrashed around trying to keep from getting hit by the rocks.

Another hour passed...

"I think I am going to go look for Danni..." Nikki shakily spoke up.

Optimus set her down on the railing, and she stepped down the steps with caution. "Come out, come out where ever you are,"

Without warning, Nikki is shot with fire extinguisher foam. "Hey!"

"I'm so sick of this!" Nikki tackled the other teen to the ground, slapping her in the face. "Stop it!" But her frown soon turned into a mischievous smiled. She tickled Danni, and she cried out. 

"Nooo!" Danni whined. "Stop it!"

Danni giggled. "Okay! Fine!"

Nikki stopped, staring at her friend. 

"Fine; i'm done pranking you guys'."

"You better be." Nikki shot her a glare before walking up to Optimus and taking a seat on his foot.

Danni trudged up the stairs, plopping down onto the couch, and instantly falling asleep.

Ratchet gave her a soft smile, and he wrapped her up in a human size blanked.

"That was terrible." Nikki groaned.

"Agreed." Ratchet and Optimus said in unison.
