This is a special one shot for my friend (again) so happy reading nerd :) with one of their favourite songs

P.s just note, I've never seen transformers so yea this is an au where he can transform into a human, well sorta, you'll see! Hope ya like it~

These are the closest I could find to what I think they'd look like face wise, they'd wear casual clothes in their signature colours and optimus would have a casual smile not something over his mouth

"And a little tweak here aaannd-" you finished up ''DONE!!!" You called "so I can see" your friend Riley said sarcastically "well I said it anyway" you replied "well I'm done doing nothing" she yawned as you sighed "lazy crafter.." You mumbled as you cleaned your now dirtied hands (building mini robots will do that!) She stared at you "well there's nothing here for me to create anyway so I got nothing to do! Miss robotics master..." I sighed "hm, whatever" you murmured "but I did find this giant robot thingy nearby if you wanted ta take a look at it?"

Your eyes sparkled with joy "WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR! LET'S GOOOO!!" She yelled in your ear "WHAT! I cant hear ya, why don't cha speak louder!!" She angrily(sorta) replied "sorry, can we please go now then" she sighed "thank you, that's better now so let's go" she smiled as she grabbed your arm and dragged you to a giant junk heap "under here, so..." She climbed up and moved a mattress to reveal a strange robot head "oh my gosh!!!!" You tried climbing up but fell only to have a large hand grab you "what the-" "hello little human, I am optimus prime" "oh my god its alive!" You could hear Riley call out shocked

You sighed and grabbed one of his fingers "well optimus I'm (y/n), and the strange girl on your shoulder is my friend Riley-" "SUUUUPP!!!" you hear her scream "-and I'm a robotics engineer and Riley is a crafter of all sorts" optimus nods then I will help you as much as possible "uhhhm okay optimus, if you really want to then I guess-" "YAAAAAAYYY!!!!-" "-GODDAMN IT RILEY, STOP THAT!!, as I was saying I guess its okay"

Its been a few months and so I've been helping Riley and (y/n) and gotten close to them but I can't help but think I have strange, deeper emotions for (y/n), so I'm going to talk to Riley about it, "Riley?" She turns away from her work, (y/n)'s out so its just us in the workshop "hmm?, what's up opti?" She calls me by my nickname, though I can't help but think it sounds better coming from (y/n), "uhmm, I'm experiencing weird emotions for (y/n)" she nods as she sits on one of her boxes of the unknown "Okay, can you explain what these emotions make you want to do?" I cautiously nod

"Well, it makes me favour her over you and it makes me want to be with her at all times and-" "say no more opti, what your experiencing is an emotion called love, and if you love someone then you can date, then marry and have kids and...." She starts mumbling creepily, "but I was also wondering if there was a way I could be human, even for a bit.." She snaps out of her weird trance thing "Huh?, like a potion?, I dunno?, I've never really done that kinda stuff but I suppose I can try?" I smile and hug her with my hand "thank you Riley!" She smiles back "no problemo!" She hopped off the crate, opened it, grabbed several containers and a piece of paper saying 'optimus prime make-up'.... Strange "oh, you can leave now! If you want?" I walked to the opening of the warehouse to wait for (y/n)

As Riley studied the papers she needed to, (y/n) walked in to have a tinker at her new robot inspired by optimus (its a mini bumblebee!!) She saw optimus, "oh, Hi Opti!!" She called, "h-ey (y/n), how was your outing?" She nodded, it was good, how was dealing with crazy brains? Heheh?" "O-oh, hahahaha that's a good one!" "Uh-huh, are you okay opti?" (Y/n) caringly asked "I could maybe look at your circuit board or-" NO!!" optimus yelled, then there was silence "oooookay, can I speak with you privately optimus?" Riley asked as she walked back to her workshop "so I've finished the human transformation thing you wanted"
He grinned "yes! Finally, thank you so much Riley! How can I ever repay you?" You smirked "weeeell~..." Then you whispered a plan to him

'Damn it, this stupid Cybertronian wording' "hello; I am bumblebee-" "-please help me miss (y/n), I am going to need a childish and energetic person to care for me" you freaked from the deepish voice resonating from behind you "oh ha ha Riley, you know you can look after bumblebee then" optimus sighed "I'm not Riley" yah, I'm ova heeyre" you turned around "o-opti?" You looked at him, he was a human teenager "y-you're h-human?!?!?!'' He nodded " all thanks to Riley!" You shook your head "your meant to be metal!!!!!!!, m.e.t.a.l, METAL!!!!!!" you started crying

"..(Y/n)...., I did it for you, when Riley first showed me you I fell in love with you, and when you started learning cybertronian for me, I loved you even more, so I asked Riley to this for me so I could be with you easier, I love you (y/n)" you cried more as you hugged optimus "I LOVE TOU TOO OPTI!!!" you yelled as you kissed him "aww, so cuuute!!!!" You guys heard as you saw Riley stand next to a shockingly human bumblebee who had one arm around her you smirked "aww so cuuute!!!!" You mocked, she glared childishly at you "Riley stop glering at the sweet little couple" (imagine bumblebee has a lisp as a human) she looked at h going red then looked away as she sulked off silently, "see ya later lovers!" As he stalked off "well shall we go on a date my love?" Optimus asked, you nodded "we shall opti, my sweet love" as you kissed his cheekily (see what I did there!) And ran off, "I'm gonna get ya (y/n)" he called as he ran after you laughing and smiling 'I gotta thank Riley later for that' you and optimus thought
