"Yoongi-ssi! Yoongi-ssi! Wait up!" Jimin's voice sounded in the distance. Yoongi just turned up the volume in his headphones and kept walking, paying no attention to the boy that was now desperately trying to catch up with him. He knew he had to face the younger sooner or later, but he preferred later.

When he felt a hand on his shoulder, Yoongi decided he couldn't ignore the kid any longer. He took out his headphones and looked at the brunette who was now doubled over, panting as if he had just ran a marathon.

"What do you want?" Yoongi snapped at him. Jimin's hand was still resting on Yoongi's shoulder whilst he was leaning on his own knee with the other. His face was slightly red, puffing heavily. Wasn't this kid a dancer? How come his stamina was so bad?

"Y-Yoongi-ssi...-" pant, "I thought...-" pant, "we could walk to the dance studio together." He finally stood up straight, and Yoongi realized for the first time that Jimin was the same height as him, if not a tiny bit smaller. Their faces were perfectly aligned with each other, making Yoongi's heart skip a beat.

"Oh... I was about to get coffee first." That was a lie, of course it was a lie. He still felt guilty for what he did, not talking to Jimin was a way for Yoongi to not have to deal with his feelings, and he was having a lot of those at the moment. There was nothing Yoongi hated more than feelings. He had even contemplated not going to the dance lessons that day, but he didn't want to let Hoseok down, the dance competition wasn't that far away and he still had a lot of work to do.

"That's okay! I'll come with you!" Jimin's excited smile made Yoongi feel warm inside, as if his intestines were burning up. Shit.

He should probably say no, say he wants to go alone or something. Surely, Jimin would understand.

"Fine," Yoongi blurted out, to his own surprise. He was supposed to say no, but it was like his mouth had a mind of it's own. Yoongi internally cursed himself for being so stupid.

Jimin smiled like a kid at Disneyland, he looked so ecstatic. Yoongi could practically feel the happiness that was radiating off him. Yep, there was no going back from this.

Yoongi put his headphones back in to avoid any further conversation and started walking towards the coffee shop, it wasn't that far from the dance studio anyways. Jimin was following him closely, trailing behind like an excited puppy.

When they entered the coffee shop Yoongi finally took his headphones out. Hoseok was right, the lines at the coffee shop were too long. He was just about to complain when suddenly he felt a slight tug on his sleeve.

"Yoongi-ssi, help me," Jimin sounded worried, his hand still clutching the sleeve of Yoongi's oversized hoodie.

"What's wrong?" Yoongi said unimpressed, raising one eyebrow at him.

"There is so much choice, I don't know what to pick," Yoongi watched him as the boy's eyes grew wide, scanning the menu. Was this kid serious?

"What is a 'frappuccino'?"  Jimin asked him, trying really hard to to pronounce the name correctly. Yoongi had to hold back his laughter.

"Have you ever been to a coffee shop before?" The brunette slowly shook his head, still distracted by the unnecessary long names on the menu. Yoongi let out a chuckle.

"Have you ever even tried coffee?" again, Jimin slowly shook his head, he looked embarrassed at his confession. Yoongi found it very entertaining and slightly adorable, although he would never admit that to anyone but himself.

"Don't worry, I'll order for you. Do you like sweet things?" Jimin's head shot up, surprised at this sudden act of kindness. He looked at Yoongi for a moment, slightly suspicious.

"Y-yeah, I do..."

***

"Yum, this is so good!" Jimin exclaimed whilst drinking from his chocolate chip frappuccino. Yoongi was very relieved that Jimin liked his drink, especially because Yoongi was the one who paid for it. Jimin didn't want him to pay, but the older had insisted. Maybe he was trying to get rid of the guilt he had been storing up, but it didn't work at all. He still felt bad.

"What did you order again?" Jimin curiously leaned over the small table they were sitting at, looking over Yoongi's cup, trying to examine its content. Yoongi grinned whilst sliding his cup to Jimin.

"An iced Americano. Try it." Jimin, for the nth time today, was surprised at Yoongi's behavior. Normally the older was snappy and rude, but today he was nice for once. Jimin was confused at the sudden change in mood, but he sure as hell wasn't going to complain about it.

He took Yoongi's cup and sipped from the straw. It took a second for the younger to process the taste but when he did, it was the most comical thing Yoongi had seen all day.

His hands immediately shot to his mouth, his eyes wide open. He swallowed the coffee down with what seemed like a lot of effort. He started shaking his head vigorously with his tongue sticking out, frantically waving his hands in front of him.

"That's disgusting! So bitter!" He coughed. Yoongi was laughing and handed Jimin his own cup, who gratefully took it.

"How can you drink that?" Jimin asked him whilst gulping from his own cup, washing away the bitter taste from Yoongi's coffee, replacing it with the sweet chocolaty flavor of his own drink.

"I don't know, I kinda got used to it," Yoongi shrugged, still grinning from Jimin's reaction.

"It suits you," Jimin stated, innocently taking a sip from his frappuccino.

Yoongi realized that Jimin just called him bitter and if he was with any other person, in any other situation, he would've thrown a fit. But instead, he just laughed. He didn't even care, He loved talking to Jimin like this, as if they didn't have a care in the world.

Jimin was also laughing now and it sounded like music to Yoongi's ears. They kinda just looked at each other, both smiling like idiots until Yoongi realized what was happening and quickly looked down at his cup which was clutched in between his hands, not wanting to look Jimin in the eyes ever again.

However when he looked at his hands, he saw his watch hanging loosely around his wrist.

"Shit, we're gonna be late. Come on." Yoongi stood up, threw his laptop bag over his shoulder, grabbed his drink in one hand and Jimin's hand in the other. He dragged the boy along with him whilst they speed-walked to the dance studio. Yoongi let go of the younger's hand as soon as they neared the building, not looking back when he entered.

"Yoongi! You're late!" Hoseok yelled from the other side of the studio. If he saw them holding hands, he didn't say anything about it, which Yoongi was very thankful for. Almost all of the other students had arrived already and were now staring at the newcomers. Yoongi nodded at his friend and walked straight to the sofa's, not bothering to look behind.

"Jimin! You're here too! Thank god, I was getting worried!" Hoseok looked genuinely glad to see Jimin, which clearly made the younger very happy. He was smiling from ear to ear.

"Of course I came, Hoseok-nim!" Jimin bowed politely. Hoseok walked towards him laughing.

"Jimin, please, call me hyung!" He said whilst lightly slapping the younger's back. Yoongi was sure he had never seen Jimin so happy before and for some reason it made his stomach feel all weird. The same kind of weird he felt when Jimin told him about his crush on Seokjin.

Shit.
