"Breathe in." I said to Paige, my little sister.
"Nolan, my knee hurts!" She cried. She lay on the sidewalk, crying over her scrapped knee as I moved the pink princess bike to the grass. Paige, who was almost 7, was my younger sister and Drew was my older brother who was 18.
I picked Paige up off the sidewalk and began carrying her to the porch steps.
"Look!" She said pointing with the finger she just took out of her mouth.
I turned around, like a movie sene with cheesy music playing in the background. A car pulled into the drive way of the large yellow house on the other side of the street. The "sold" sign stuck perfectly straight up from the green grass. The mom and dad, from what I could tell, stepped out of the car. The mother was holding a small dog that instantly ran to grass and began rolling around. The children exited the car next, one boy and 2 girls. The first girl looked to be 17. The second girl was maybe my age, 16 or so. And the brother looked like he was about 11. It looked like a cookie cutter family to me. With the perfect cookie cutter house, with their dog and their new perfect lawn. The girl who was my age smiled over to us. Paige waved like she was having an arm spasm.
"A swing!" Yelled the brother, running over to the porch swing where he violently swung back and forth almost hitting the outside of the house.
I turned and continued to walk back, shifting Paige to my other side.
"Can we meet them?" Paige asked innocently.
"Why do you want to meet them?" I asked.
"They seem perfect." She said tightening her grip on me.
"I don't know Paigie Cat, they seem to perfect. They just seem kinda fake, like the last neighbors."
"So you don't want to meet them?"
"No, no I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that they don't look special. They seem boring."
"Nolan, you don't like boring do you?"
"It's just not for me, I guess."
............
I'm new at this, let me know what you think.
