chapter one the children of light

once Emily left the human world she started a new world in the heavens above the clouds she called it Ishtar then she gave birth to children they looked like small white dragons once they grew up they had slick smooth bodies there wings looked as if they were made out of feathers over time Emily created a new species pegasie with coats of white wings of gold and manes of ruby red they were positively majestic soon afterward another creature was born it was called Orbose it was a small ball of light with floating hands the last creature that Emily created was made in her image they had large bat wings on their heads and grey skin and blond hair and they could use magic Emily named them the Magi and they all lived together in the crystal sphere but they called it the crystal palace meanwhile on the earth the humans in the colony shared their knowledge they gained from Emily with the other kingdoms soon enough they built ships that could touch the sky Zane grew even more powerful with his airships he could bring nations to it's knees but he grew more ravenous for even more power and he knew where to get it you see word spread throughout the land of an amazing civilization that lived above the clouds no airship could get past the cloud barrier until Zane started making blueprints for a new ship called cloud strike but it would take ten years to make this made Zane mad as all hell but there was nothing he could do but wait

"priestess Emily oh where are you" a boy said "John i'm up here" Emily said as she jumped over the support beam as she scared the living daylights out of him Emily observed her friend he was wearing his normal yellow robe you see he was a scholar "so what brings you here John" Emily asked "well i was wondering if you found a suitor" John asked looking somewhat suspicious Emily gave a gentle smile and said "i'm sorry but my heart is still healing after my last lover so is that all" Emily asked "yes that's about it oh there's one more thing Sane wants you to meet him in the Orb chamber" John said as he left the altar "hmm i wonder what Sane would want with me" Emily said walking out of the altar

once inside the Orb chamber she met up with Sane the Orbose commander "ahh lady Emily i'm glad you came i have something to report the humans are building an airship that can pierce the cloud barrier this should be handled immediately" Sane said "thank you Sane for bringing this to my attention i'll send a platoon of Magi to handle this Emily said as she left for the Magi district

Emily flew through the halls of the palace when she got to the Magi district she ran to general Mars and said "Mars i need you to go down to the world of men and destroy the airship that can pierce the clouds protect the citizens of the crystal palace" "yes malady i'll ready the platoon" Mars said grabbing his sword on the way out

ten minutes later the war horn was blown and all the male Magi left for the land of men Emily opened the cloud barrier long enough to let Mar's platoon to get down to the world of men once the platoon got to the surface they flew to the airship forge and unleashed hell when they returned to the crystal palace the forge was nothing but rubble meanwhile on the surface Zane was so mad that he tried to shoot a black arrow into the cloud barrier but it didn't work

Zane grew crazier and crazier every day he lost his forge his title all he had left was his son and wife but knowing that he had his family was the only thing keeping him sane as for Emily she brought down the walls in her heart she began to fall in love with Mars and soon she became pregnant and few months later Emily and Mars were blessed with a sweet little girl they named her Lune

Lune was very intelligent for her age she could use fifth tier spells at the age of ten and could fend off brigades of troops all on her own she was the apple of Emily's eye but on clear nights Lune would wonder about the land below the clouds Lune would ask her mother every night to part the clouds so that they could see the land below but every night Emily said no my flower
