chapter two the runaway

by the time Lune turned seventeen her curiosity reached its peak so she planned to leave the crystal palace in the middle of the night when the moon was at it's peak once everyone was asleep Lune parted the clouds and descended into the world of man but she knew the humans would attack her so she transformed herself into a human once she landed Lune walked to the nearest town and came to the marketplace Lune came across a apple vender "ooh what are these" Lune said "excuse me i'm sorry but have you ever seen an apple before miss" the vendor said "well no i come from a land very far away" Lune said "well would you like to buy one" the Vendor asked "um what do you mean by buy" Lune asked at this point the vendor was getting cross then a man walked up to the stand and said "excuse me is everything ok" the man asked "ahh Sol thank the Goddess can you come get this girl i believe she's horribly confused" the vendor said "well my dear do you wish to try one of these apples miss umm" Sol asked "my name is Lune and yes i would like to try an apple" she said "fine will take two apples" Sol said giving the money to the vendor and in exchange the vendor gave Sol two apples

"Lune would you care to go on a date with me" Sol asked as Lune nodded her head and followed Sol out the door Sol lead Lune to an abandoned steeple that had a statue of Lunes mother Emily on the pedestal "this steeple was once the home to the Goddess of light but that was when the light spirits and humans once lived together in harmony i pray to this statue every day hoping that one day our two worlds will become one once more my father always told me that his true love fled to the heavens taking with her the sun's light" Sol said "i was wondering why the sun hasn't risen yet is that why" Lune asked

"well yes ever since my father betrayed the goddess she took the sun from us by hiding it behind the cloud barrier sealing the human world in eternal darkness but there is a legend when the princess of light descends from the crystal palace a new age of harmony will begin" Sol said "do you really believe she'll come back" Lune asked "yes i do i'm the only one who does oh sorry i went on a rant let's eat some apples shall we" Sol said offering a seat to Lune and offered her a apple after one bite of the apple Lune screamed out of delight "this is magnificent it's so sweet i love apples" Lune said finishing the entire apple "so tell me where are you from" Sol asked

"well that i can't tell you" Lune said "why i just want to know where you're from" Sol said getting closer to Lune then a man came running into the steeple "master Sol the cloud barrier is beginning to part the goddess is coming we must prepare the forces" the man said "ok i'll be right there Lune stay here where it's safe" Sol said unsheathing his sword (oh no mother i have to stop her) Lune thought to herself as she ran after Sol when Lune got outside the steeple she saw the entire magi army waiting for orders and they were being led by no other then Emily the Goddess of light herself then Lune saw him Zane the king of all humans and before him stood his army Lune was in shock she knew that the humans would perish before Emily's strong magic

"Zane you vile cur where is Lune the princess of solar empire" Emily said with great rage in her voice "hahaha i have no idea what you're talking about" Zane said mockingly "don't play dumb with me Zane tell me where she is or else i'll bring down the age of man now where is she" Emily demanded "i told you i don't know where she is now be gone from the world of man" Zane said preparing the strongest spell at his disposal Emily saw what he was planning to do and was preparing a counter measure she was going to cast supreme light Lune knew what her mother was planning so she took it upon herself to stop her mother and at the same time save the humans by using the supreme spell serenity bond then all of a sudden a divine wind blew throughout the whole world bringing with it not pain not even sadness but a new beginning a new world without magic or greed the new era starts now
