13 - Have we got a Deal?

Delilah's P.O.V

I rushed out to my car, my eyes stinging with tears. I finally have the courage to tell someone how I feel then it just crashes and burns.

Back home I unlocked the door and started heading for the stairs. My "mum" started asking me things like if I was ok or where I was but I just pushed past her.

It had been about two hours and I had started to calm down. It was about 11:15.

*BZZ BZZZ*

Blocked Number: Hey it's Jen. I need to see you.

Needs? All I know is I don't need to see her but before I knew it...

*BZZZ BZZZZ*

Blocked Number: Come downstairs. NOW!

Jeez so much for a different Jennifer. It different means the same then it makes sense. I threw on a black hoodie and zipped it up to where it was almost touching my chin and checked if my eyes were red.

I crept down the stairs trying not to wake my siblings or "mum". I don't know if I'm ever gonna be able to call her that again.

"DELILAH! Thank god I need to talk to a girl!" Jen Shouts.

"Would you keep it down?! My brother is trying to sleep upstairs and could probably hear you!"

"Ergh! Men." She says angrily gesturing to get in the car.

I think I was in her car for a solid hour as she rambled on about how Noah is 'gay' , how Noah probably doesn't like her and likes someone else. Please shut up soon, I would like some sleep.

Nope your not shutting up? Yup ok. This is enough.

"WOMAN! He does like you! He asked you out didn't he!? Oh and maybe he's not gay, did you think that maybe he's just not READY to have sex? Stop complaining and be happy that you actually have someone who loves and cares about you.."

Jennifer looked at me dumb-founded. I didn't care what she had to say next so I just left.

I guess it felt kinda good to yell at her but honestly she won't change...

Science class. I was actually glad to be in here third period because it's one of the two classes that doesn't have Noah in it. I'm in no position to see him. There is one slight hiccup though. Austin.

The last time I had spoke to Austin was after that prank date two weeks ago. I still haven't forgiven him and I don't know if I will.

He was still so cute though. I just kinda gazed in his direction look at his perfectly defined cheekbones and perfect hair... SHUT UP HES LOOKING! I quickly attempted to re-focus my attention to the front of the class where I had totally missed three of the slides we were ment to copy down.

The bell just rang meaning it was time to go to lunch. I started heading to the door as fast as possible to try and get out before Austin when Mr. Loppers stopped me.

"Delilah. Can I speak with you for a minute?"

Oh shit.

"Um- yeah"

I was looking around and Austin was still sitting, chatting and packing up his stuff.

"Delilah I know you weren't focused in the lesson today. I know you didn't get them down and you need them. Get them off somebody in the class or your going to fail." Mr. Koppers said bluntly.

I gave him a slight smile and nodded my head then went for the door.

Back at my locker I put my science book away and pick up my English. I'm just fiddling with a few things in my locker when I see a tall person come stand next to me. Austin. Great just the person I wanna see, NOT!

"Hey sugar plum head you were missing some science notes so I thought I'd be a gentleman and give you mine" He says in a cocky voice.

"Thanks but no thanks." I slam the locker door and begin walking in the opposite direction.

"Wait, wait wait baby girl I have another thing to say. Well a favour I'd like to ask."

I stare at him with a cold face and nod for him to start talking.

"Well, I need to get back at my ex and your a hot piece of ass so I was thinking we can be fake dating so I can piss her off and you can use it to get back at whoever you want. Sound good?"

"You want me to be your fake girlfriend so you can get back at Jillian? You get the satisfaction of kissing me and holding me when I couldn't care less about you, what do I get out of this 'deal' thing?"

"Well what do you want?"

Ergh. What do I want? I didn't think this far ahead! Uuuuummm... I GOT IT!

"I want two tickets to see Selena Gomez and Until dawn for PS4."

"I can swing that. Have we got a deal?"

"We'll see..."

BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEP
