Chapter 7

*Bo's point of view*

I threw my apron into my bag along with all the necessities I needed for the work day. I then picked up my phone and called a cab.

"Eliana, I'm gonna go to work now. Call me if you need anything." I said as she was laying in bed half asleep.

"Good luck." She mumbled still tired.

I threw on my apron as Barbara was telling me how everything works and all the rules.

After about an hour of her telling me all the information, I nodded and started to practice on the machines.

As I was doing that, I heard a jingle indicating someone just walked into the bakery.

I looked to see a very attractive male who was walking up to Barbara. It seemed like they knew each other pretty well. He went into hug her. And they started talking for a while.

I was just staring, but then Barbara noticed my actions and said "Oh, I'm so sorry! Harry, this is Bo. Bo, Harry."

He looked slightly familiar, but I just couldn't seem to comprehend who it was.

We shook hands and after that we just stared back at Barbara, like she was supposed to break us from this awkward position.

"Well, Bo. Harry has been working here for a quite a long time. Maybe he can help you out with how the stuff works." She said.

I nodded my head in agreement and me and Harry walked to the back of the bakery. He pointed out a few tools, told me a little bit about the store.

And then we started rambling about random stuff.

"So, are you from here?" He asked as he took a sip from his water bottle.

"Something like that." I smiled back.

"We'll, do you even know who I am?" He asked in a cocky tone. A look of confusion sparked my face.

"You sort of look familiar. But not really." I stated.

He just nodded with a surprised look on his face.

"You really have no idea?"

"Not really." I shook my head.

I reached for the dough to put it in the oven, and it's weird because Harry was reaching for it at the same time.

A spark of electricity ran through me when we touched hands. I pulled away and we just stared at each other.

Harry's mouth then bent into a smile and he let out a small chuckle. We both sat their laughing.

The last couple of hours were going by really fast with Harry to keep me company. We laughed. We joked. We had fun.

"Bo!" Harry yelled from the front of the store. He came to the back and grabbed my arm. I walked to the front, laughing at his actions. I saw Eliana, damn. I needed to see her. She was smiling, but I don't know why. Then she walked out. From the front window I saw a guy in a hoodie talking to her, with sunglasses. But it so stupid, it's night. What's the point of wearing sunglasses?

Before I knew it my shift was ending. I grabbed my backpack and pulled my headphones out. I said my goodbyes to Harry and Barbara, then walked out of the store.

I started to play music when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back to see Harry.

"Oh, hey." I said with a smirk.

"Erm, hi." He replied.

"What do you want?" I asked, a bit of more rudeness in my tone that I wanted it to seem like.

"Your phone." I stood there with a confused expression on my face. I trusted him enough to take it. So I pulled it out of my back pocket and handed it to him, still a little hesitant.

He pressed a few keys and then handed it back to me.

"Well, bye. See you tomorrow?" I asked.

"Yeah." He smiled and then gave me a tight hug. I swear, he was so warm and fit.

I walked off with the earbuds in my ear. I was dancing, and to be honest, I looked like a fool. But I didn't give a fuck. I didn't know anyone, no one knew me. And that was okay.

As I was walking I was interrupted by a blonde guy tapping on my shoulder. I turned around, blushing that he had seen me dancing. Dude, this was the second time I had got caught.

"Uh, do you know that girl that just walked out of the coffee shop?" He ask. Then I started to realize, that was the guy with Eliana.

"My sister, Eli? Yeah?" I asked.

"Eli? For short?"

"Obviously." I said sarcastically.

"Do you guys live together? Where do you live?"

"Right beside the barber shop on Nick's road. Why?" Suddenly I felt stupid for giving our address out to a guy that I don't even know. I covered my mouth with my hand.

"Thanks." He smirked and walked off as if nothing happened. I was a little scared and shocked. I tried shaking the thought off but I couldn't.

------------------------------

I fiddled with keys as I tried to unlock the door. As I opened the door I saw the same guy that walked up to me before. He was walking out. Of OUR house.

"Eliana?" I said as my eyes wandered around the room searching for her. Suddenly, they met her. She was sitting on the couch. I pushed a strand of my brunette wavy hair behind my ear.

"Are you okay?" She asked obviously worried because I had seemed a little nervous.

"Yeah. Who's that guy?"

"A guy. It's nothing."

"Oh. Yeah. Just a guy." I smirked.

I wiped off the mascara I had on from earlier and crawled into bed. I was tired. I checked my phone.

1 new message

"Hey, I had fun earlier :)"

I smiled at his message.

"Yeah, me too. Are you going tomorrow?" I typed and pressed send. Then I quickly fell asleep.

I was awoken about 5 minutes later by my phone vibrating. I mummbed. I was too tired to check the message. But it was Harry. So I did it anyway.

I then shut my eyes a floated into a deep sleep.
