*Eliana's P.O.V*

I softly brushed a piece of hair behind my ear as I put the records in their right place. I heard the bell to the front door jingle, indicating someone has walked in. Great, first customer on the first day. I was definitely going to screw this up. I walked to the cash register as a blonde kid in sunglasses picked out an Indie soundtrack. He walked up to the register and I ringed him up.

"Ah, Clash of Demonhead. Good choice." He smiled as he finally took off his glasses to reveal his shining blue eyes that were nothing compared to my contacts.

"That'll be 11.99£." I smiled up at him.

He handed me the euros as he looked down at me with a confused smirk.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked.

He shook his head and spoke, "No, it's just- Why aren't you freaking out?" He smiled.

"Uh, it's just a record, dude. There's plenty more whe-"

"No. I mean, do you know me?" He pulled down his hoodie.

I shook my head slowly, "Not really."

Does this happen a lot in London? I hope it doesn't. I didn't really open up to people and interact back on Long Island. And I don't think I'd be to good at it here.

He simply shrugged it off and walked out of the premises. I watched as he opened the door and walked out, slowly letting the door close. He quickly covered his face with his hoodie and his sunglasses, completely ignoring the fact that there is no sun out.

I walked out of the store, ending my day visiting Bo's bakery.

"Hello, is Bo here?" I asked a tall, curly haired fellow.

"Uhm. Yeah, would you like me to get her for you?" He smiled.

I smiled back and agreed with him. I heard him call out for her as he walked into the kitchen and a couple of giggles coming out of the room as I saw them both exit the kitchen, Bo slightly slapping his arm playfully while they both laughed. A smirk slowly formed on my face as I saw that she had already met someone of the opposite sex.

"Hey, Bo. Nice to see you doing some extra hours here." I smiled as she looked back at the guy and and giggled.

"Yeah, uh, you going back home?"

"Yeah, just came to check up on you." I said.

"Wait, you two, like know each other?" The guy in the back asked, looking back and forth at me and Bo. I looked at Bo and she simply nodded and said,

"She's my sister. Eliana."she introduced me to the guy.

"Eli, for short." I smiled as I shook his hand.

"Harry." he smiled, revealing deep dimpled cheeks.

"So, do you work here?" I asked.

He looked back at Bo and nodded.

"You could say that." They smiled together.

I slowly nodded, slightly confused.

"Well, I'll see you back home, Bo."

I smiled as I exited the store, watching them innocently wave at me in sync.

As I exited the store, I bumped into a tall fellow with a familiar hood and glasses.

"Hey, watch it!" I yelled as I looked up at him.

"Sorry I- Oh, hey. Aren't you the girl that works at the record store?" He smirked, as his accent clearly showed through his pearly white teeth.

I stared at his slightly pink cheeks and his contoured face.

"Uh, yeah. And you're the guy with the Clash of Demonhead CD." I gestured to the bag he carried from the store as I smiled slightly.

"Well, hey, listen. Um, I'm Niall." He stuck out his hand for me to shake.

I stared at his hand, in amusement that he actually expects me to shake the hand that caused me to almost fall onto the concrete floor.

"And I'm leaving." I smiled sarcastically at him, as I turned to walk away. I felt him follow closely behind as his voice called out for the nickname he gave to me, "Record Girl."

"That is not my name." I said as I sharply turned.

"Well if you would've told me your name, I would've said it." He smirked sarcastically down at me.

I huffed at his cockiness as I tried to walk away again.

"Can I at least have your name?" He yelled as I walked away.

"Figure it out, Niall!" I spoke over the beeping of the cars and the street people.

As I arrived home later than expected, and saw that nobody was home. I slouched down on the small couch and threw my bags on the floor. I sighed heavily and smiled at the fact that this is my life now. This is us. Bo and Eli. Our new lives. We made it. We actually fucking made it. I can't believe that this is us. I can't deny that I had a little doubt that we wouldn't make it. I mean, we're only a couple of 15 year olds with little, to no money and an unfinished education. But now I can say it. I can say what I've been wanting to say since forever.

"I'm free." I whispered silently to myself as I smiled.

I heard a knock at the door as I finished making a sandwich, taking a bite out of it and walking to open the door. I opened the door, unexpected to see who's behind it, with my mouth full.

"Hey, is Eliana here?" A tall guy spoke in a familiar accent.

"Yes, who's asking?" My eyebrows furrowed in confuse.

He pulled down the familiar hoodie and smirked.

"Niall?" I tried remembering the 'clash of Demonhead' guy.

"You told me to figure out your name." He smirked, his blue eyes glowing.

"Yeah, not my address. How'd you even find out my name?" I leaned in the door frame.

"Bo."

"How the hell do you know Bo?"

"Well, if you insist on the whole story," he paused as he leaned beside me, entering the small house.

"I saw you walk out of the bakery, so I asked your 'sister' about you." He said putting air quotations around "sister".

"Well, it was nice seeing you, I guess." I gestured to the door that I still held open. He sat up from the couch I had previously sat on, and walked over to me.

"All I'm trying to do is be a friend." He whispered, a little way too close for personal space.

My breath hitched in my throat as his fingers trailed up and down my arm slowly. I quickly snatched my arm back and moved out of the door so he could leave.

"Well, I don't need any friends." I snickered.

He smirked and chuckled slightly before briefly brushing his body toward mine, turning to leave.

"This isn't the last time we'll see each other." He spoke defiantly as his smirk enlarged.

I scoffed as I shut the door abruptly in his presence and leaned against it, sighing.

Moments later, I was scrolling through Tumblr and had gotten a small text message saying nothing but,

"See you tomorrow at work. c;"

My eyebrows furrowed in a confusing gesture. Who would send me this? I don't have any co-workers. Maybe it's just a wrong number. Whatever. I brushed it off as I heard the door fiddle open and Bo walk in with a bewildered look on her face.

"Eliana?" I heard her speak.

"Are you okay?" I asked obviously worried because she seemed nervous.

"Yeah. Who's that guy?" He spoke.

"A guy. It's nothing." I sighed, frustrated.

"Yeah, just a guy." She smirked as she walked upstairs.
