•Brook's POV•

Dylan and I were now at my place, in the basement. We were watching 22 Jumpstreet. Which is one of my favourite movies mostly because Channing Tatum is in it but also because there's action and comedy: the perfect mix.

I was laying on the couch with my head on Dylan's lap. At some point he played with my hair but stopped not a long time after. I guess he thought it was inappropriate.

After the movie, we talked and laughed. Then I received a text from my mom telling me that her and dad were going to dinner with their coworkers so they were going to be late.

They work at the same firm. My dad is a prosecutor and my mom is an attorney. They met in college while studying law. My parents always wanted Ty and I to study law too but I'm more into chemistry, physics and mathematics and he's more into economics, math and politics.

Not a long time after, Dylan left. I then went to bed and fell asleep.

Everyday was almost the same for the next 2 weeks: walking to school with Ty and Dylan, going to class and after school hanging out either with Dylan, Ty or Ava. I actually became closer with Dylan than Ava but Ava and I are still friends. I haven't talked to Nick even thought sometimes I want to. I know I'm still not ready to deal with him and the fact that he kissed me and all this, so I prefer to forget it and I'll see what happens next.
I talked with Zac a few times. He told me he was going back to New York and he's going to try and stop smoking and drinking. I'm really happy for him. He became more responsible and mature and I hope it will last.

School has been off for two days now and today is the dance. Dylan is borrowing his father's car so we don't have to walk. Ty is also borrowing dad's car to take Ava. I really think they're cute together.

"Brook! Ava's here!" I heard mom yelling from down the stairs.
I got out of my room.
"Ava I'm upstairs! Come!" I yelled.

"Hey!" She said coming in my room.
"Hey what's up?" I asked while hugging her.
"I just wanna say hi to Ty, I'll be back."
"Okay."

I put on my dress and decided to let my hair down naturally. I'm happy Dylan and I are going together as friends. I honestly think it's the best thing to do.

"Damn girl, your dress is amazing." Ava smiled at me.
"Thanks. Now show me yours!" I said excitedly.
She went to the bathroom in my room, put on her dress and came out.
"Wow. You look like a princess!! It's amazing!" She had a strapless long light pink dress with some sparkles on the side.
"Thanks. Now let's do our hair." She said.

At 7 we were downstairs, waiting for the guys. At that moment I felt a little weird because Ava was waiting for her boyfriend. And I was waiting for.. Dylan, a friend. Just when I started thinking more, Ty and Dylan came from outside.

When Dylan saw me, he looked surprised, chocked.
"Hey." I smiled at him.
"Hey. Y-You look beautiful." He said as he hugged me. "As always" he whispered in my ear.
"Thanks you look good too." I chuckled.

"Okay guys. One picture and then you can leave!" My mom yelled while my dad grabbed his Polaroid camera.
We all stood next to each other for the picture and we left.

As we got next to the car, Dylan opened the door for me and I couldn't hold myself from laughing.
"What?" He asked.
"It's just cute how you opened the door." I said chuckling.
He closed it. "Fine open it yourself." And went to his side of the car and got in. I opened the door and sat.
"Don't take it like that." I told him.
"I'm being nice and you're being a bitch. What the fuck Brook?"
"Come on it was funny. Why can't you take a joke?"
"It wasn't a joke! I opened the fuckin' door. That's it."
"Baby boy?"
"Huh?" He asked confused.
"You're becoming more like me." I smirked.
"No I'm not."
"Don't deny it. It's okay."
