18 Days // C.R

Chapter 12

Sorry for the long wait, working on another story.

The boat finally docked and Robin is still getting her hair done.

"Robin you don't need to curl your hair, the water will ruin it anyways." I say while Marlee accidentally pokes my eye trying to put my sunglasses on for me.

I pretend to not be in pain while she's apologizing and Robin stuffs anything in sight in her big beach bag. Robin always has a way of making everything chaotic.

I have a yellow drawstring tote with a black coverup, covering my navy one piece. My hair is up in a ponytail while Marlee has her signature pigtails. She's wearing a tinker bell swimsuit that has a tutu, which is adorable.

After thirty minutes of waiting for Robin she finally opens the door and leads the way to where we can get off. While we descend the grand staircase, in the lobby there was countless characters wishing us to have a good time.

Marlee kept blushing at the the attention she was getting, this is why I love Disney.

It's been two hours of splashing and photo ops with characters. Marlee's having the time of her life. Robin and Jason go to to explore the private island as a couple after a couple of hours hanging out with us.

As I make Marlee a 'mermaid' with the sand my phone rings. Chandlers name flashes on my phone so I answer it.

"Hey."
"Hey Jen, so..."
"Your so awkward. I'm at the beach. Not that far from the boat."
"Alright."

I hang up and finish with the tail. Right when I finish I see Chandler approaching us and I greet him with a smile. He smiles when he sees Marlee buried in the sand.

"Is that Mr. Chan?" Marlee says trying to turn her head without ruining her tail. She tries to block the sun with her hands which made me realized I forgot to put sunscreen on her.

I nod and Chandler stands a few feet from is.

"Hey." I say as Marlee gets up and hugs him, I couldn't get a photo of her with a sand tail. I look in my beach bag for sunscreen before I forget to put some on her again.

"Hey." Chandler says while accepting Marlee's hug. After I spray some sunscreen on Marlee and I, I couldn't find Chandler anywhere. I already lost him and he's been here for two minutes.

"Oo! Oo! There mommy!" Marlee says while pointing towards the water. I look up and see Chandler holding the tiny kick board I brought her my daughter. After I put on her life jacket we headed towards Chandler.

"Did you put sunscreen on?" I say while holding Marlee in hip length water.

"Nope."
"Do you need some? I'll get some for you."
"Nah it's fine."
"You sure, the sun is right above us."
"Stop worrying, it's just the sun."

Three hours later

"I told you that you would need sunscreen." I say devilishly while in a store to buy Aloe Vera gel.

"Whatever." Chandler replies while smiling. He's red all over. His face, arms, legs, stomach and back. It's quite funny, he could've told me he burns easily.

"I asked you over and over again." I teased him. Marlee is in a stroller half asleep. We're next in line and Chandler can't wait to get the aloe vera gel.

"Next in line please." An elderly woman says and we step up. I notice she looks at Chandler and I and my baby and gives us a disapproving nod. She even mumbled "too young". I sigh in response, I don't really care what people think anymore, they don't know it wasn't my choice to have a baby and they're the immature ones for assuming.

I look at Chandler and I see his facial expression has changed to anger.

"What did you say?" He says to the cashier while handing the perfect amount of what the aloe gel cost.

She just hums and looks at Marlee again. Chandler angrily takes the bag and storms outside the store.

"I'm sorry about that." I say and start to push my stroller but the lady reaches over and grabs my upper arm.

"Cute baby. Have a good day." She says, her eyes filled with pitiful eyes. I left without saying another word.

As soon as I step foot outside I see Chandler rubbing the purchase all over, his eyes still angry.

Why are you angry?" I say still right outside the stores door.

"the cashier, she had no right to-"
"Chandler it's fine, I'm used to it."

After I said those words Chandlers eyes turned to show the emotion of sadness.

"You shouldn't have to deal with that." He says walking towards me. I shrug, "come on, I'm hungry let's find someplace to eat." I say and adjust my beach bag. It's almost six o'clock.

I'm so sorry for the long wait I can explain. So I've been getting into anime recently and pretty much spend my time on that. I'm sorry I was distracted and I'm kinda bored with this story. But I'll continue to post more updates as soon as I can. I didn't realize how popular this story was to some people.
