I woke up to the sound of birds chirping a song. It was a beautiful day, for the birds anyway. I sat up and looked outside. I could see the beach and some of the palm trees. The blue sparkling water rushed up and down. I got up and went outside. Were is Layla? As I wondered I heard rustling in the bushes behind me. I jumped and turned around. The rustling got louder and louder. I looked for a weapon or some sort of sheild. I grabbed a stick and pointed at the bushes. "S-show yourself!" Finally someone came out. "Hey, chill it's only me!" When I saw Layla I immediately blushed to show my embarrassment. "O-oh....sorry". "It okay, you just didn't know it was me. One time my cousin came over for my dad's retirement, he went out to the back in the dark, and when he heard the rustling in the bushes he ran straight to the car, but what he didn't know was that that was me putting out the garbage!" I giggled. Wow Layla's cousin must be a wimp! "Hey what was your dad retireing for?" I asked "Oh, he was a lumberjack, it wasn't all that special, but anyways while you were taking a cat nap I found something. Follow me!" She headed back into the forest. I followed her through the thick jungle. We finally came across a house in a tree, a house tree, tree house? I don't know. We went inside the house tree and inside was a lot of bottles on shelves, a little bed, and some weird masks. But in the middle was a big cauldron, it was already filled with something. It was bubbling with the excitement. I jumped when I heard loud banging in the back. A man came out. He was wearing a blue robe with little stars that looked sewed on. With the robe came with a long hat that also had stars sewed too it. It was so long that it hung low. "Oh, Mr. Mondrake!" Layla said as she ran over to the strange man. "OH, IM FINE IM FINE." "Mondrake what happened?" He looked up and slowly pointed his shaking finger at me. "YOU.....ARE IN...GRAVE DANGER......"
